We’ve all been there ... it’s Friday and your energy is running on empty. The weekend is so close, but your motivation is nowhere to be found. I'd like to share five easy ways to recharge your energy and finish your week feeling strong and prepared for whatever the weekend holds for you.

💫 Take Micro-Breaks - Short, frequent breaks can do wonders for your focus.
💫 Step away from your desk/sofa or wherever you are and simply stretch, or take a quick walk. Even five minutes can help to reset your mind.
💫 Prioritise Small Wins - Tackle a few easy tasks first. The simple action of checking items off your to do list gives you a sense of accomplishment and can build momentum for bigger tasks.
💫 Refresh Your Work space/Home space - A tidy space can boost your mood and productivity. Take a moment to organise your desk, or living environment by adding a plant or changing your background music.
💫 Hydrate and Refuel - Don’t underestimate the power of water and a healthy snack! Staying hydrated and eating nourishing foods can help maintain your energy levels.
💫 Plan Something Fun - Give yourself something to look forward to, whether it’s a coffee break with a friend or planning your weekend activities can really boost your spirits.

Remember, it’s normal to feel a dip in energy as the week winds down but with a few simple strategies, you can power through and end your week on a high note!

This year certainly seems to have one of the longest high pollen counts of all time and it's certainly not been helped by the late 'Indian summer' we've recently been experiencing,

If you're looking for a natural way to cope with the inevitable hayfever symptoms that this can bring, have you tried chamomile, liquorice or nettle tea? They all contain antioxidants and antihistamines and the warmth of the tea can also help to clear your nose.

Having a daily teaspoonful of locally sourced honey can also help you cope with symptoms.

Do you have a tip for coping with hay fever symptoms naturally?

Many schools and colleges are returning this week and older children may be flying the next and going off to university, all of which can bring a mixture of anxiety and stress, and even a touch of 'empty nest' syndrome as we all get back into routine.

I recommend Honeysuckle Flower Essence to help bring your focus back to the present and help counteract those feelings of empty nest syndrome.

Are you tired of hearing about of the same old self care tips such as bubble baths and face masks?

I was too, so today I'm sharing a few of my own self care ideas that can help you to shake up your own self care routine. Why not try:

✨ Writing a letter to your future self
✨ Trying “trees and fields bathing” – just walk and soak in nature
✨ Putting on your favourite music and having a solo dance party in your living room
✨ Making a vision board for your all your future wishes and dreams
✨ Trying a new hobby, such pottery, origami or Yoga
✨ Unplug from social media and screens for an hour and just do something that you enjoy
✨ Tidying out a 'junk; draw and reorganise it
✨ Cooking a meal you’ve never tried before but always wanted to try

I believe that self care isn’t a one size fits all solution, so why not take some time to explore what makes YOU feel recharged?

What’s the most unusual self care ritual you’ve tried? Share in the comments below!

Menopausal brain fog is real thing, but it doesn’t have to slow you down.

Here are a few tips to help clear the fog and reclaim your focus:

🌱 Prioritise sleep - your brain needs rest to recharge
🥗 Eat brain boosting foods like leafy greens, berries, and nuts
🚶‍♀️ Move your body every day - even a short 10 minute walk outside can help
🧘‍♀️ Try mindfulness or meditation to reduce stress
📝 Keep a journal or to-do list to help you stay organised and remember those important things!

Above all, remember, it’s okay to ask for support and take things one step at a time.
