To celebrate the King of Rock & Roll we spent the morning singing along to some classic Elvis. (While also sharing some dance moves, of course!)

We paid homage by creating some wonderful collages. With a selection of different pictures for residents to choose from, they chose their favourites then arranged & glued them to create the final piece.

Those living with us at Manorhey welcomed the New Year with a fabulous party. Entertainment was provided by the talented Nathan Bellies, who kept everyone enthralled with his magical renditions of classic songs. Manorhey's reliable catering team laid on a delectable feast, accompanied by a few cheeky glasses of fizz. The atmosphere was electric and everyone is starting 2026 on a high. Happy New Year to all!

Throughout the month of December, residents at Manorhey have been taking their turn opening the doors of our fabulous wooden Advent calendar. Each resident received a tasty treat in the form of a crispy Christmas pudding, a festive candy snowman or even a chocolate sprout! Lots of laughs were had by all and our naughty elf proved to be a popular character.

Manorhey threw open its doors last Saturday, welcoming in an eager crowd of people to enjoy its annual Christmas Fayre. Along with residents, the guests were treated to an array of activities including festive music and games. The tombola stall was as popular as ever and featured well over 100 prizes, all of which had been kindly donated. Refreshments came in the form of hot dogs and a vast variety of Asian delicacies, followed by classy cakes, mince pies and a glass (or two!) of mulled wine.

The event was enjoyed by all and even Santa took time out from his busy schedule to pay us a visit!

Some of our residents took a festive outing to The Lord Nelson pub for an afternoon of Bingo & Butties, along with extra festivities.
We had Christmas luck on our side as Manorhey won BOTH games of bingo. We celebrated together with live music, dancing & everyone’s favourite tipple.
