The people living with us here at Manorhey enjoyed a refreshing summer trip to St. Anne’s beach, organised by the Lifestyle Department and supported by staff members.

They strolled along the pier, played classic arcade games, and indulged in a delicious fish and chips lunch. The day was filled with More...Fresh Air, laughter, sea breeze, and warm memories. Everyone felt relaxed, at home, and truly uplifted by the joyful seaside atmosphere.

Those living with us at Manorhey had a creative and engaging time during a keychain-making activity organised by Lifestyle Coordinator Iraj.

Using colourful beads, charms, and personalised touches, they crafted unique keychains to keep or gift. The hands-on session sparked joy, encouraged fine motor skills, and gave everyone a sense of accomplishment through artistic expression and shared laughter.

We recently took part in a butterfly counting event in collaboration with the local Conservation Society.

This engaging outdoor activity brought the community together to observe and record butterfly species in the area, contributing valuable data to national conservation efforts. The people living with us at Manorhey enjoyed a virtual trip to Italy through a More...Sensory-filled activity, organised by Lifestyle Coordinator Iraj.

They created their own pizzas, choosing from a variety of toppings, bringing authentic Italian flavours to life. The experience was enhanced with an interactive video, showcasing vibrant Italian cities and sounds. We took one of the lovely gents living with us for More...Fresh Air and a warm walk to one of our most glorious local parks, Davyhulme Park, as he is not familiar with this area.

During our time, we explored the park and spent quality time together discussing his time in the Queen Elizabeth Royal Army. He was over the moon to see the areas national army memorials as it meant a lot to him, he was very grateful.
