How to get brighter glowing clear skin

Ice facial- massage face with ice for no more than one minute. Great for dark circles.
Tip: use a popsicle (ice-lolly) mould or if you want to splash out you can purchase a contourcube.com

Drink plenty of water. Avoid or limit caffeine and alcohol.
Tip: use a water app to track your hydration and calculate how much your body needs

Cleanse and exfoliate face before bed
Tip: use natural soap such as OLIVA- pure olive oil soap and a gentle exfoliator to remove layer of dead skin.

Wear minimal makeup
Tip: use natural products free from additives if possible and allow skin to breathe by going makeup free as much as possible.

Use a good moisturiser
Tip: olive oil is great for the skin. Rosehip oil is better for older skin as it helps to reduce dark spots.

Massage
Tip: after applying a small amount of oil onto the skin massage the face gently with the fingertips from the chin upwards in small circles.

Sleep plenty
Tip: 8 hours or more sleep to reduce dark circles and help the body regenerate.

Practice Meditation or Mindfulness
Tip: Start with 1 minute a day to empty the mind of negative thoughts.
Calm mind = less frowning = less forehead lines

Practice deep abdominal breathing
Tip: do it as you're lying in bed. Slow down breathing and aim for longer out breaths than in breaths. Challenge yourself to get slower each day.

Eat plenty of leafy green vegetables and cut down sugar
Tip: make smoothies with them and add them to soups and stews.

Exercise
Tip: walking and house chores count. Increase physical activity to improve blood circulation.

Bonus: Face exercise
There are 42 muscles in the face yet how often do we think about exercising them?
Tip: Open mouth as wide as you can then close.
Stretch it horizontally as wide as you can (forced smile) then relax.
Push lower jaw forward and up whilst tilting head back to work the chin area.
Do these exercises 8 times daily to see improvements.
