I’ve worked with hundreds of neurodivergent individuals, and one of the most common things I hear is: why does eating feel so all-or-nothing for me?
If that resonates, our workshop on Sunday, the 26th of April at 5 pm, is exactly what you need.
In two hours, Becca and I are going to walk you through what’s really happening in your brain around cravings and impulsivity, how your gut and biology are shaping your mood and appetite, and the simple evidence-based steps you can take straight away.
There’s also a live Q&A at the end. It’s online, it’s supportive, and it could genuinely change how you see your relationship with food.
Save your spot now from the link inbio. See you there!

Some days, it’s not about motivation.

It’s not about knowing what to do.

It’s that even chopping a vegetable feels like too many steps.
In this clip from our kitchen conversation, Becca talks honestly about those moments when executive function is stretched thin… and the simplest tasks start to feel heavy.
If you’ve ever stood in your kitchen thinking,

“I know what I could make… I just can’t start” — you’re not alone.

This is exactly why we need to look at food through a wider lens.

Not just what you’re eating, but:
how your brain is functioning that day
how much energy you actually have available
what feels doable, not ideal

In the full conversation, Becca shares how she feeds a family of six on days like this — using shortcuts, simple staples, and letting “good enough” be enough.
Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing more from our time in her kitchen — easy meals, honest chats, and the real-life ways we make food work when life feels full.
For now, we’d love to know…
What’s one kitchen task that can tip from “easy” to “too much” for you?

Conversations in My Kitchen

Come into the kitchen with us…

This is a 7-minute watch that might feel like a bit of an exhale if food has been feeling hard lately.

Becca shares how she makes an easy family roast using salad potatoes and frozen veg
…and what that really looks like when you’re feeding a family of 6 on low energy days.

We talk about the parts that are messy and difficult
– the mental load of feeding everyone
– trying to use recipe books without it becoming overwhelming
– and that quiet pressure to get it “right”

You’ll hear some of Becca’s tips that are genuinely helpful when time and energy are limited
and how she leans on simple kitchen staples to make things work.

We also share a way of thinking about meals that can take the pressure off:

Good
Better
Best

…and remembering that good is enough.

If you’ve ever stood in your kitchen wondering how to make something work for everyone
this one may feel very familiar.

We explored the guilt, blame and shame so many of us feel around food, and why these patterns are especially common with ADHD.

Today I’m so pleased to introduce you to Becca, 💚
Becca has recently joined the So Nutrition team, and I genuinely couldn’t be happier to have her here.
We trained together over the past couple of years, first through advanced ADHD coaching with the brilliant , and then discovered we’d both independently signed up to study emotional eating training with the amazing Emma Murphy at the Eating Freely Coaching. It felt like one of those moments where you just know you’re on a very similar path.
Since then, we’ve spent a lot of time learning, sharing, and having very honest conversations about food, ADHD, and what this actually looks like in real life.
And that’s exactly why I’m so thrilled to welcome Becca to the team.
Becca brings such a thoughtful, compassionate approach to emotional eating, especially where it overlaps with ADHD and autism, impulsive eating, and the pressure many of us feel trying to “get it right.” Alongside that, she brings something just as important — lived experience.
This video is part of a new series we’re creating together in the So Nutrition team:
Conversations in My Kitchen
I spent the day with Becca in her beautiful home in Kent, and we talked and talked all day about the things that don’t always make it into neat plans or polished advice.
The reality of feeding yourself and your family
The mental load. The spoons.
The days where it works… and the days where it really doesn’t
No perfection. No performance. Just real life.
Over the next few weeks, we’ll be sharing many more of these conversations — the small wins, the practical tips, and the honest moments that can make food prep feel a little bit easier.
If you’ve ever felt like you’re the only one finding food hard, you’re not.
We’d love to know — what feels hardest for you right now when it comes to food in your home?

I wanted to follow up and share something that has been in the making for a long time.

After years of clinic work, research, and hearing the same struggles come up for so many neurodivergent adults, I’ve created a brand-new live programme for 2026.

It’s called The Path to Food Freedom.

It’s an eight-week coaching and nutrition programme designed specifically for neurodivergent adults who want to move from chaos with food to calm, confidence, and self-trust.

This programme isn’t about rules or restriction.
It’s about understanding yourself and building simple, gentle rhythms that work with your brain — not against it.

Here’s what you can expect:

8 live weekly sessions delivered inside a private Facebook group
Choice of afternoon (1pm) or evening (7pm) group
A maximum of 25 people per group for safety, support, and connection
A full workbook with weekly exercises and reflection prompts
Tools to help with appetite, cravings, emotional eating, motivation, hormones, energy, and the gut-brain axis
Six months of group access after the programme ends
Camera optional — join in a way that feels comfortable
Replays available in your private portal read the comments section for more detail 😊
