This morning we had some 1:1 sessions walking around the village making the most of this beautiful weather- a little chillier than Tuesday but beautiful non the less. 🌼
A few of us then discussed the home touching on aspects like activities, food, care and the home overall. The feedback from residents and family was amazing, and very very positive. πŸ‘πŸ»
After lunch we welcomed Archy for the very first time and he did not disappoint, with his wit & humour but most of all his talent! Playing not 1 not 2 but 3 instruments (not at once that would be something) whilst singing some Irish songs and some very well known songs promoting residents to join in. We cant wait to welcome Archy back in the future.

We then had our weekly game of Bingo, well done to our 3 winners πŸ‘πŸ»
After lunch we are back out in the garden enjoying the sunshine and blue skies, having a natter and spotting the wildlife in the garden. 🐞
Those who have wished to stay inside are completing some St Patrick's Day Active mind booklets whilst listening to some irish musicπŸ€

We started the day off with some morning news followed by a quiz and some jokes & brain teasers inbetween.
After lunch we were visited by therapy dog Ben & owner Lucy. They spent time in the lounge going to each individual resident allowing everyone to give Ben a fuss and chat with Lucy. They then visited the rooms of residents, ensuring everyone got chance to see Ben and give him lots of fuss.

Our Location.

The Old Rectory was built in the 16th Century and forms a central focus within the home, sited on the edge of Bramshall which is a small village between Uttoxeter and Stafford. The Old Rectory overlooks the vale of Bramshall which forms a backdrop of unspolit rural English countryside providing an atmosphere of contentment and tranquillity. This idealic 'Constable' scene is matched by an internal environment which styles its two main lounges on that of a mid 20th Century country house, with a dining room which one would expect to find in a fist class country hotel. Bedrooms are either standard or premium, many having en-suite toilet and bathing facilities, the majority with garden and scenic views.
