Pain at the back of your heel or calf? Morning stiffness? Trouble running or climbing stairs?
This could be Achilles tendinopathy – an overuse injury of the strongest tendon in your body.

🔹 Most common causes:
– Sudden increase in activity (running, jumping, HIIT)
– Poor footwear
– Tight calf muscles
– Too much… or too little movement

🔹 What can you do?
➡️ Don’t ignore the pain – it won’t “stretch out on its own”
➡️ Avoid running through pain
➡️ Stretch and strengthen your calf (eccentric training is key!)
➡️ Physiotherapy tools: manual therapy, acupuncture, taping
