I started Blooming Fitness as a way of engaging mums in fitness & exercise. Allowing them to gain more energy and strength to cope with the momentous task of motherhood.
With Blooming Fitness I offer a range of activities to suit the modern pre and post natal mum. I am working on an easy to use booking system via my website www.bloomingfitness.co.uk with entirely flexible training options for you to choose from like:
Babies-welcome Circuit Classes
Running training, Couch to 5k training and Walking Classes

So growing up, I was the child that loved team sports but hid when it came to cross country lessons at school. I've always gone to gyms and exercised at home, but as soon as my first pregnancy came around, I struggled to keep it up. And I longed to find exercises that were safe for both myself and my baby. But unfortunately with no such luck. Along with this, my first pregnancy didn’t go exactly to plan. With my blood pressure sky high, it lead to me being induced with lots of pain relief, and was not the pregnancy that I had hoped for. The second time round, I was prepared. I had a Personal Trainer who supported me and gave me the confidence to train throughout my pregnancy. This time, my blood pressure was fantastic, giving me a completely different experience of labour. Seeing many of my pregnant friends struggle with the same issues - I decided that Blooming Fitness was a way for me to help women as someone had once helped me.
My Exercise Favourites: With regards to exercise, I love to mix up my training - from cycling to circuits, running half marathons (yes the girl who got out of cross country!) to weight training and team sports, I love it all. Swimming when the weather is right and mud runs just for fun, it's so easy to find exercise that you can enjoy with your family and friends. And this is what I want to share with you. Ditch the 100 morning sit ups and boring squat challenges - we can find exercises together, that you will love to do and look forward to doing. The key to sticking with exercise, is to genuinely enjoy it.
So, that’s just a little story about how and why Blooming Fitness came to be. Already it has given me so many opportunities to meet and share experiences with likeminded mums around Staffordshire. I hope you’ll join in on our community.
