Four generations all together today ❤️

This morning the fabulous Becky Gee came and performed for our residents.
They always enjoy Becky’s sessions and she interacts with them with so much thoughtfulness and respect.
One of our residents is a singer also and Becky gave her the mic to sing a song solo, much to the ladies delight.

This afternoon we had quite a few residents participate in several games of chocolate bingo. Everybody won so they were all happy.

A trip into town for a coffee and a look around the shops for one lady this morning , some Halloween painting this afternoon plus happy birthday to one of our gents.

A few games of word search for our relatively new lady who absolutely loves doing word searches but only usually does them in a book, she was amazed at the interactive touch screen table and took to it straight away.
One to ones with new residents is important whilst they’re transitioning as it can be difficult for them. It’s also important for us too as we can get to know them and find out what they like to do.

Charles Dale our local vicar visited our residents and gave the ones who wanted Holy communion, said prayers and we all sang some hymns.

Charles visited residents in their rooms and said some prayers with them which he always does, nobody gets forgotten.

Bramshall Farm shop for tea and cake for one lady resident then a few manicures and hair done for pamper Monday. Only got one photo of one ladies hair but quite a few got there’s done including the gents.

An outing into town today for one of the residents. My lady bought herself a new warm padded coat now winter is setting in.

Tea and cake in the town hall where we met Sean our Uttoxeter PCSO and Rev Charles. They both chatted to us which was nice.

In the afternoon we had a few games of scrabble.
