📱 How to Submit a Request in the NHS App:

Log in to the NHS App.
Select Services at the bottom of the page.
Tap Contact your GP about a health problem.
You’ll see a message saying the service is provided by Accurx – press Continue.
Confirm your details.
Confirm that none of your symptoms are an emergency.
Enter as much information as possible about your symptoms.
Re-confirm your details.
Select whether you’d like a telephone call or text message about the appointment.
Choose to verify the form (optional).
Enter if there is someone specific you’d like to speak to.
Submit the request.
✅ You’ll receive a confirmation message once it’s sent.

Go to www.balancestreetpractice.nhs.uk.
Click Appointments in the menu.
Select Submit a new request.
Choose I have a health problem or the section most appropriate for your needs.
Confirm that none of your symptoms are an emergency.
Enter as much information as possible about your symptoms.

Select whether you’d like a telephone call or text message about the appointment.
Choose to verify the form (optional).

➡ Select Book a GP Appointment (please note although it says GP appointment, this is an NHS App feature we cannot change – it means the practice, not just a GP)
➡ Select the appointment type you need
➡ Select Balance Street
➡ Select a clinician
➡ Choose a convenient time

💡 Please note: If an appointment is booked incorrectly, it will be cancelled, and you’ll receive a text message asking you to contact reception.
