Today Bateman House, joined in the heart warming Cake4Kindness CIC Day by making a donation of cakes to Random acts of kindness in Uttoxeter who support locals and our community, we also visited Northgate Surgery who support our local town of Uttoxeter.

We took freshly made cakes from our home to support those in our community who may be in need. 🍰❤️

This initiative aims to bring a little bit of sweetness and joy to everyone. Together, we can make a difference and show our community that we care!

Our weekly choir on a Tuesday is just the ticket as we prepare for Christmas. We started making a list of songs and choir names to singing in key . The choir will get to sing with our schools over the festive period, so when you're visiting us or just having a show round our beautiful home listen out for the Bateman choir 🎶 🎵 🎤

Here at Bateman House we are all about the community and supporting each and every one. We have a great connection with our local schools and we are grateful that Thomas Alleynes is doing a wish tree for our home we are looking forward to working alongside the school over the festive season.

This afternoon we have been treated like a VIP to mark 80 years of JCB. We took a tour around the museum and our tour guide, Kate, gave our group lots of local and global history 🌎. Marking 80 incredible years as a family business and a big employer for the area. It was amazing to be part of the history and it's just on our doorstep!

We are out in the Uttoxeter area today , We started at B&M then a sneaky drink at Costa. We will then be on route to JCB museum for a tour 80 years they are celebrating.

Thank you to Northgate Surgery who gave a talk about Respect forms and how we manage them in a care setting and how we talk with our loved ones to get all their wishes. If your looking for information about respect forms please see the attached video for more information.
