Australia themed day at Bateman House. With exercises, A Quiz , picture bingo , learning about Australia 🇦🇺 using resources on our portal helps our wellbeing team and enjoyable activities. Our portal has lots of resources, fun games , to over 100 different planned activities and music.

Guest speaker Louie Young gave us a talk on the history of Pugin after dark, & A house talk. Alton Towers and the area bring lot's of memories for many as a child and as families . Bateman House brings a variety of activities and entertainment.

We love to celebrate birthdays and special occasions. Today is one of our resident's birthdays and to celebrate he wanted afternoon tea with his family and friends. Our private dinning room can host lunches to afternoon tea to book clubs.

Place:

An accessible and hospitable building, open at the same time every week.

Open to everyone regardless of their circumstances or situation, and usually staffed by volunteers.

Presence:

A place where people actively listen to one another.

Provision:

Offering free refreshments (at least a cup of tea and a biscuit) and basic local information.

Participation:

Recognises that every person coming to a Place of Welcome will bring talents, experiences and skills that they might be willing to share locally.

Vintage afternoon at Bateman House Uttoxeter, we are holding a classic car show at Bateman House in Uttoxeter. We will have a variety of vehicles and entertainment and food. We will also be open for tours of our home between 2pm and 4pm these can be booked please see details on the poster.
