Readmission rates within 30 days of discharge from acute medical units are on the rise, and a recent study has identified falls as being the third most common reason for first admission.

Today, we were truly touched when one of our carers brought in these delicious treats sent all the way from Greece by her father. He wanted to personally thank us for supporting his daughter during a difficult time — allowing her to take emergency leave when he had to undergo surgery. 💌
