Wishing you a joyful New Year 💫
I don’t know about you, but I’ve never really been a fan of New Year’s resolutions. They sound great… and then usually fade away by February.
But if you do feel like setting an intention for the year ahead, here’s one I truly believe in:
✨ Love yourself fully.
From a place of genuine self-love, the choices you make naturally start to support you.
You might find yourself eating food that actually nourishes you, choosing movement that feels fun rather than forced, or turning to mindfulness and breathwork to calm your mind.
And the beautiful thing is — when those choices come from love rather than self-criticism, they’re sustainable.
Not from “I’m not good enough, skinny enough, healthy enough, successful enough” — but from “I care about myself.”
That old mindset of punishment and comparison? Honestly… BS.
Once you set that intention to love yourself, the next step often appears almost magically. The right class, the right practice, the right support shows up — and it feels lighter, easier, and much more joyful.
Now, here’s a little reality check… 😄
You all know me as I am now — not drinking, eating well, moving my body with care, and supporting my mind through Access Bars and other healing therapies.
But I didn’t always live this way.
Here’s a photo of me in picture 2 in my late 20s / early 30s…
I was a proper party girl — smoking, drinking, the occasional drugs (yes… that was me 😅). Running on caffeine and pizza. And surprise, surprise… deeply anxious, depressed, and on antidepressants. I wonder why!
At some point, I had enough of feeling like that. And instead of trying to “fix” myself, I started loving myself a little more.
It didn’t happen overnight. It took time, self-inquiry, yoga, gong baths, Access Consciousness, and other healing modalities. But something incredible happened — those old habits began to fall away naturally.
No force. No punishment. No deprivation.
Just more care, more awareness, and more kindness towards myself.
