Self Care Sunday this week is a little different… 💗

We’re not focusing on goals, flexibility or “fixing” anything.
We’re focusing on your relationship with your body.

Because the truth is…
Most of us are in a constant conversation with our body —
and it’s not always a kind one.

“I’m tired.”
“My back always hurts.”
“This isn’t right.”
“That doesn’t look good.”

These small, repeated thoughts quietly shape how we feel, move and live in our bodies.

This Sunday is a space to pause…
to listen…
and to gently shift that relationship.

✨ We’ll begin with grounding and sharing
✨ Sip ceremonial cacao and tune into what your body is actually saying
✨ Bring awareness to the stories and judgements we carry
✨ Then soften, release and transform through gentle Dru yoga, breath and meditation
✨ And integrate it all with a deeply restorative gong bath

No pressure. No fixing. No forcing.
Just a return to your body as a place you can feel at home in again.

Even though it’s still pretty cold… spring is definitely in the air! 🌱

Everything is bursting back to life and one of my absolute favourite things about this time of year is spring foraging.

You can forage all year round of course, but this early spring season is when so many beautiful plants start appearing again after winter — and they’re packed with vitamins and nutrients to replenish our bodies. Nature really is incredibly wise.

Here are a few of my favourites to forage at the moment:

🌿 Cleavers (Sticky W***y)
Supports detoxification through the lymphatic system and kidneys. I usually soak it in water and drink the infusion.

🌿 Nettles
Amazing in tea or lightly fried in coconut oil (yes really!). Rich in nutrients and antioxidants, helps reduce inflammation and supports blood sugar balance.

🌿 Wild Garlic
My absolute favourite! I make lots of pesto with it while it’s in season and freeze it so it lasts all year. Antibacterial, antiviral, packed with vitamins and brilliant for cardiovascular health.

Nature always provides 🥰

Some weeks call for big energy and excitement…
and some weeks call for slowing down, taking a breath, and simply showing up for the things that support us. 🌿

Yoga, movement, and caring for our bodies and minds can be powerful anchors when life feels a little wobbly. I’m always grateful to have these practices — and this lovely community — to return to. 💜

We’re definitely taking credit for that after all the Sun Salutations we’ve been doing in class lately 😎😂

To make sure it sticks around, we’ll be doing more this Tuesday — strengthening the body, clearing the mind, and shaking off that stagnant winter energy to welcome some fresh spring vibes instead 🌸

I don’t know about you, but does your world feel a little heavy at the moment too?

With everything going on lately — and after what’s felt like a very long, dark winter — things can feel a bit dense sometimes 😅

My cure for everything is self-care haha… but honestly, that’s where the real magic actually happens. Taking time to pause, check in with yourself, and notice what’s coming up. Allowing yourself to feel it all, without judgement, and being kind to yourself in the process.

Sometimes it can be as simple as asking yourself each day:
✨ What can I do today that would make me feel a little happier?
✨ What can I do to nurture my body?
✨ What can I do to love myself a little more?

Small questions… but powerful ones 💜

☀️ Oh my gosh… this sunshine just makes everything feel better, doesn’t it?

I’m usually the one saying “the sun is always there behind the clouds” and “rain is just liquid sunshine” 😄 — but even I was starting to feel a little worn down by what felt like endless grey days.

These last few sunny moments have brought me so much joy and fresh energy, and I hope they’ve lifted your spirits too. 🌸

So this week we’re bringing that fresh spring energy into our sessions — waking up the body, shaking off winter heaviness, and putting a bit of a spring back into our step again.

Lately, I’ve really been feeling the urge to slow down — to rest a little more, move more gently, and almost hibernate for winter. 🍂

Our yoga practice will reflect that over the coming weeks 🌿
We’ll move slower, be more reflective, and spend more time on soothing breath practices and gentle inversions — to balance our minds and keep our spirits lifted through these darker months. ✨

This time of year often gets busy and overwhelming, but it’s actually the most important time to pause and nurture ourselves. 💜
