A neat installation of a Frame TV this week using a flush-mounted box behind the TV to hide the Samsung One Box. This was used with an ultra slim wall mount, so it looks like a painting when turned off with no wires to be seen, in keeping with the room's elegant interior design.

We are in awe of this exquisitely designed London office interior by Hollie Bowden Interiors Spread across two floors of a stately Georgian townhouse in the centre of Marylebone, the office features a subtle blend of textures, classic furniture design and bespoke furniture.

"We tend to always think about the relationship between objects in any space as the interplay of sculptural qualities, but lighting is an element we look to, to provide the perfect foil for the dominant materials and volumes in the space."

The lighting throughout was intended to give each area a domestic feel in contrast to the glaring, even light typically associated with commercial offices. Lighting is so important in creating the overall ambience of a space, yet it is so frequently overlooked by designers at the initial stages of a project.

Moreover, we can't see switches or fixtures on any of the walls. Everything has been so cleverly hidden as to not disrupt the continuation of the beautiful surfaces and finishes. We can only assume that there is a smart system controlling all the lighting and heating elements in this space. This would allow the designers to fully adjust and dim the lights on site and therefore judge it based on the rest of the furniture and textures in the space. That in our opinion is a luxury - but it requires planning at the initial stages of the project. A home technology integrated like ourselves can easily help with this.

Happy Holidays from everyone at MDfx Within. We hope your holidays will be filled with joy and laughter through the New Year. This Christmas we have decided to spend our customer and supplier Christmas gifts budget on local homeless shelter charity P3 .

In times of crisis, inequality grows and some communities can become isolated and left behind. Homelessness devastates young lives. Over 110K young people are homeless or at the risk of becoming homeless in the UK, with numbers rising due to the impact of the pandemic.

P3 Charity cover 16 counties in the UK. The aim? To improve the lives of socially excluded, vulnerable people, a lot of which are suffering with mental health concerns. Last years statistics are pretty impressive.

• 1400 people re-homed, 1000 of which were previously homeless
• 1500 people found a suitable job
• 2000 children introduced to safe youth centres.

Vault House -

Architecture studio Bradley Van Der Straeten has renovated and extended a Georgian house in north London, adding four brick volumes containing new spaces including a dining area topped with vaulted roof lights.

We can't help but notice the Bowers & Wilkins speakers which form part of this seamlessly installed hi fi setup. All products and wiring are cleverly stored and hidden within the bespoke plywood feature wall which incorporates built-in storage and bench seating, creating an isolated dining area across from the kitchen. Another clever example of incorporating technology in a fun and practical way!
