Today, October 10th, is World Mental Health Day, and we're focusing on the wellbeing of our amazing healthcare professionals.
The people who care for us are under immense pressure. It's a sobering fact that three in four NHS staff have struggled with their mental health in the past year. We believe that to provide the best care, we must first ensure our carers are cared for.
This year's international theme, 'Access to services – mental health in catastrophes and emergencies,' is a powerful reminder that support should be accessible to everyone, especially those on the frontline.
How you can make a difference today:
Check In: Reach out to a nurse, doctor, physio, paramedic, or any healthcare worker you know. Ask them how they really are, and listen without judgment.
Advocate for Change: A new job with a better work-life balance can be life-changing. We're proud to offer roles that prioritise regular hours and well-being.
Share Support: Organisations like Mind offer vital resources. Sharing them helps fight the stigma.
Let's make sure our heroes know they are seen, valued, and supported.
What is one small thing you'll do today to support a healthcare worker's mental health? 👇
