I was always looking for something more, a way to relate to the children and families I worked with in a holistic way. This is it, I finally found my Jam. I love being in the woods, or at the beach, family walks and generally sucking up the benefits of being outdoors. Bl

oom Family Wellbeing was born! Holistic parent & baby classes with a difference, baby massage, baby yoga, guided meditation, workshops, masterclasses, creating the calm in a nurturing space. Parenting is never perfect, unfortunately children don't come with manuals, but lets support each other and recreate the village.

Sometimes we focus so much on getting through birth… that no one really prepares us for what comes after.

The quiet moments.

Your a mum, maybe once, twice, five times over.

But have you ever properly processed any of your births?

Being pregnant, giving birth and having a new human is probably the most life changing thing any parent will do in their life. Bodies change physically, your brain's chemicals change and so do you emotionally, your identity shifts and then we wonder why life doesn't feel the same.

The changes a mum goes through is both magical and extraordinary.

Why is processing pregnancy and birth important?
• These experiences stay with you for life.
• They shape your next set of years.
• So many things can come as a surprise during pregnancy and birth.
• At the time you don't have time to process it because you're in survival mode. Sometimes you can get stuck here.
• Helps you make sense of what happened and turn it into a clear story
• Reduces the risk of ongoing anxiety, low mood, or trauma symptoms
• Supports rebuilding a sense of control and understanding
• Can improve bonding and emotional connection with your baby
• Helps you process unexpected or difficult moments without carrying them forward
• Supports a smoother emotional adjustment to parenthood
• Can positively influence future pregnancy and birth experiences

I wish this was something I'd done after all three of mine, but it never crossed my mind. Until I realised five years later I was still holding on to that trauma.

What a breath of fresh air! 😀 It's only been four days but it made such a difference. I removed my social media from my screen on my phone and I've barely thought about it or touched it. I've been more productive and less concerned over things I have no control over. I definitely recommend removing social media off your home screen!!! It's not the first thing I see in the morning or the last thing at night. I've had space for books and other things. Give it a try and let me know how you get on?!
