Ward House Nursing Home

Ward House Nursing Home has said goodbye to its last residents as they move to their new placements. From all the staff both past and present we wish them every happiness in their new homes. We also thank all the local community for their support in making Ward House a safe and happy home and place to work with the best team, but now we are having to close our doors hoping to meet up again.
Before we close a final get together and chance to swap stories and memories.

She is a trustworthy conscientious person who will fly - if you need a cleaner you won't go wrong with south Wight Cleaning🥰

We ate still open - if you need some more information please do not hesitate contacting the home

UPDATE - We have managed to find a new home for her with someone we trust who will provide a safe home for her. Thank you to everyone who has enquired.

Thank you for all your kind responses. They are all much appreciated by all. We are working with social services to find alternative placements for our residents except one.

Our lovely cat Two Tone is going to need a new home too. She is approximately 10 years old, neutered and has a gentle temperament. She is mostly an indoor cat and like most cats appeciated the benefit of an empty box!!

It's is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of Ward House Nursing Home. No further placements will be accepted nor job applications for positions.

All residents currently under our care are being assessed and alternative placements are being identified. We will continue to provide care for them safely until their transfer. From all the staff we have been honoured to be part of their lives and wish them and their families and friends the very best.

Thank you to everyone who has already passed in best wishes to us. It is very much appreciated.

Vacancies at Ward House

If you wish to join our friendly team taking care of our residents, we have the following vacancies:

Kitchen Assistant. 30 hours a week. General KA duties with cooking and preparing meals for residents. Experienced preferred as well as current level 2 food hygiene certificate.

Weekend Housekeeping Staff. Hours to be discussed at interview. General housekeeping duties.

Registered Nurse. NMC registered nurse required. 12, 24 and 36 hour contracts available.
