Vowchurch and Turnastone Memorial Hall At the heart of village life for almost a century, this lovely building combines character with modern facilities fit for the new century.

At the heart of village life for over a century, this lovely old building with its oak beams and minstrel’s gallery underwent a £280,000 restoration project in 2005. It now combines character with modern facilities fit for the new century. It can accommodate up to 150 for an event and seat 80 comfortably for a sit down meal. The large main room with its timber floor is ideal for dancing, bowls, yoga and other social and sporting activities. It is served by a bar and a good sized kitchen, central heating and a woodburning stove for extra warmth on winter days. In addition there are two upstairs meeting rooms for smaller groups.

Cream Tea & Plant Sale�
Saturday 24 May 2025, 2-4pm, Vowchurch & Turnstone Memorial Hall

Come and enjoy a homemade scone with jam & cream (or cream & jam) and browse plants grown by our members, including a limited number of young veg plants eg: tomatoes, aubergines, climbing french beans, pak choi, kohl rabi and cucumbers.

Reminder that the Michaelchurch Summer Barbecues start again this Friday 9th May from 6pm at Michaelchurch Sports Pavilion.

It's the summer equivalent of the Vowchurch Pub Nights and is typically the 2nd Friday of each month till September.
