when we turn our attention inwards to explore more reflectively we may find that focus here can teach us so much • to move away from external stimuli, expectation & feelings of loss of control with all happening around us, this way of paying attention may offer a deeper insight into how we can reframe old ideas & stagnation • what makes you decide on anything & choose? do you reflect, pause & decide with your intuition often? how can mindfulness & meditation assist you & your views, feelings, the past, present & future - you can decide, you can gain your Self •

Saying good bye to 2020, saying thank you to lessons learned, patience tested & the courage to remaining open challenged • We have all faced extraordinary challenges this year. Some of us have learned new skills, discovered new ways of connecting with other humans, learned a new love for being outside, in the natural world. But this year is also marked deeply by loss – some of us will have lost our jobs, some will have lost loved ones.

I truly hope 2021 brings you nothing but joy, good health, optimism, and new opportunities • ###

The first sūtra describe both the essential nature of reality and the spiritual path to recognizing it.
• How to practice & explore this then •
Instead of answering this question with more words, simply explore the feeling that arises when you gently hold it in awareness (focusing on the breath) - meditate on the experience of consciousness as it is in play, an ever unfolding experience, focused awareness in the present moment, so the experienced & experiencer is indistinguishable • as a feeling of being immersed, inwards, so words are not needed • contentment arises •

“the sound of the sea” (mordros) can be heard anywhere when we pay attention, even in our own breath • the energy flow of air moving that is a life force as well as a life source - constantly & continuously available to be part of & reciprocate (respirate) • if the air & the flow can be this free, let the mind not be separate of this fluidity •
