Primal Movement is a mixture of many practices including yoga, calisthenics, martial arts and dance. It focuses on developing more strength and mobility in active ranges of motion and will really put your cardio to the test. This is a fun and playful way to move and express yourself.

Step into Awaken — A Spring Equinox Celebration.

A deeply nourishing journey of movement, sound, and self-connection ✨
This immersive 2.5-hour experience blends guided movement and healing sound to support awakening, renewal, and inspired forward movement.

Held two days after the Spring Equinox, this session is inspired by nature’s gentle transition into spring — a season of growth, light, and new vitality. As the earth begins to awaken, we are invited to awaken within ourselves.
The class weaves together Hatha, Kundalini, and Vinyasa yoga with gentle somatic movement, creating a flowing practice that is accessible and supportive for all bodies and experience levels. Through mindful movement and breath, we will focus on awakening prana — the life-force energy within the body — encouraging it to move freely and vibrantly.

You will be held in a rich soundscape of live shamanic healing sounds, where percussive rhythms and grounding tones help energise the body, release stagnation, and invite fresh energy to flow.

The journey gradually softens into restorative stretches, followed by a deeply relaxing sound bath and meditation, allowing the body and mind to integrate the experience.
Together we will honour the energy of the season — stepping forward feeling energised, inspired, and motivated, ready to move through spring as our most authentic selves, shining our brightest light.

Back bends - why should YOU do them?

Why Are Backbends “Anti-Aging” in Yoga?

Aging isn’t just about wrinkles — it’s about loss of vitality, stiffness, and blocked life force (prana).

In the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, yoga is meant to cultivate steadiness, ease, and energetic clarity. Backbends support that by:

✨ Keeping the spine flexible — Youth in yoga = spinal mobility.
✨ Increasing prana — Chest opening improves breath and circulation.
✨ Counteracting collapse — They reverse the rounded, fatigued posture linked to aging.
✨ Building courage — Heart-opening shapes reduce fear and emotional contraction.

In yogic philosophy, aging accelerates when energy stagnates and the body collapses inward.

Backbends do the opposite:
They expand. They energize. They uplift.
