17: π¦ The Sacred Spring
Healing of all kinds, restoration of spirit, cleansing & purification, faith & hope.
You have come to the wellspring of all healing magics in the Forest of Enchantment. Every other body of water draws its essence from this holy spot, where the waters have flowed since the beginning of time. Sit quietly; let all your cares fall by the wayside for now. Breathe deeply of the cool, sweet air. You are safe. Your troubled mind clears; illusions dissipate like soft mist. Whatever healing you seek, you will find it here. Sip from the chalice to take the healing waters into both body and soul. Your tired spirit will be refreshed, your weary heart revived, your ailing body restored. Yes, miracles happen here-kings are healed of unhealable wounds and curses are lifted.
But what is most often healed is faith.
The offerings are not just in thanks for wishes granted but for the great gift of acceptance and peace. Serenity cascades over these stones, flowing down like mercy and grace and love.
THE ORACLE'S ADVICE: Healing of all kinds is possible now if you are ready to receive it. Make a pilgrimage to a spot that holds spiritual power for you. Make sacred space where you can be quiet and welcome deep peace. Nature's blessings will provide purification and renewal. Make it a priority to be well.
LOREKEEPER'S NOTE: Knights often pause on their quests to hold vigil here. One of the mystical qualities of this place is that somehow only one seeker arrives at a time, so silence and solitude are assured.

5: π¦ββ¬ A Parliament of Rooks
Seeking justice, all voices must be heard, participating, ideas & creativity.
The larger corvids-ravens, crows, and rooks are among the most respected creatures in the forest and in the wide world beyond. They have a reputation for telling the truth, proclaiming important information, and foretelling circumstances and consequences. They gather to discuss serious matters and resolve differences, not just for their own kind but for others as well, for their judicial expertise is highly valued. The collective name for a gathering of rooks is a parliament. (They are also known as a building or a storytelling, depending upon the purpose of their gathering.)
This parliament has come together to speak of matters pertaining to nesting home rules, politics both magical and mundane, controversies, and infractions against common corvid law. The discussion is raucous but not rancorous. Many voices may speak at once, but in the end every voice is heard. Some of these rooks have traveled a good distance to attend, and their perspectives and points of view are especially welcome. A corvid mind is not a closed mind.
THE ORACLE'S ADVICE: Listening and talking are equally important. Your input is essential. Offer your intelligence in every sense of the word: perception, understanding, insight, and information. Don't let your voice be drowned out. Engage in matters that concern your world. If you see a problem, participate in the solution.
LOREKEEPER'S NOTE: Crows chose their collective name,
"a murder of crows," to discourage intruders and give themselves a certain edge, which they enjoy. Likewise for the ravens, known collectively as "an unkindness of ravens," which they find hilarious. Most ravens are quite kind.

27: π¦ Foxfire
Where the magical & mundane meet, energy stirring underground, things are speeding up.
If you are in the night forest and you see a green glow, a vivid verdant light shining with an otherworldly softness, there's a simple explanation. Mushrooms charged with bio-luminescence glow of their own accord. It's weird and eerie, yes, but it's also perfectly natural. Foxfire is the folk name, and as you part the undergrowth and gaze upon the scene, now you know why. Those who are prepared to only see the natural rarely see the supernatural. People who expect to see the earthly rarely see the unearthly. If you don't believe in the foxes, all you will see are the mushrooms-wondrous enough, perhaps, but not the full story. If you don't believe in even the possibility of magic, then you will never ever experience it.
Children don't need to be taught to believe in wonder and magic. The mystical worlds are still open to them. At some point we're taught it's silly to say we see foxes where there are only mushrooms. But it's not too late. The human heart yearns for mystery, the eternal "what if."
THE ORACLE'S ADVICE: The places where the magical and mundane worlds touch-the liminal places are full of possibility. You are at one of those places now. You can proceed logically or you can expand your consciousness for other possibilities. The first possibility may not be the correct one. Listen for the intuitive call to move, to act, to grow, to shine.
LOREKEEPER'S NOTE: Foxfire is earth magic, but it is also sky magic. Northern legends see the sweep of foxfire enchantment in the eerie green lights of the aurora borealis. Fox magic rises through the cold clear air to hang in the heavens.
