In June I completed 16hrs of training with SANDS for counsellors and therapists on working with anyone who has experienced pregnancy or baby loss.

According to a 2023 YouGov poll 50% of UK adults say that either they or someone they knew had experienced some form of baby or pregnancy loss. While discussions on grief and bereavement can be in the news or in media, more often than not the topic of baby death is missed out. This can lead to many of those who have experienced it feeling alone and isolated, may be even unsure of where to go for help and support.

Through this training with SANDS I can offer a safe and understanding space for anyone who has been affected by baby or pregnancy loss.
