Due North CIC Malham 1/2 marathon with this beautiful woman❤️
Discovered I’m doing these things all wrong thanks to Catherine & Catherine whom iI crossed paths with several times throughout the race. They talked constantly, how!?!? I could hardly breathe in places. And one has a child under 1. (Ear wigging). Amazing ladies. Fantastic event. Best days

Seeking those who fancy a challenge! Gawthorpe Coal Race has been going 61 years. It’s a brutal race over a 1km closed road course carrying a sack of coal 20kg for Ladies and 50kg for Men.
I’ve competed twice and took home the Veterans title this year. I also trained 3 other who 7th and 12th in my category and 5th in the ladies open. I’m looking for interested individuals who would like to train towards the challenge. 2025s race is on Easter Monday the 21st of April. If I get enough interest I’ll be running the squad from November 2024. Please message me directly with expressions of interest. Training package price is £200 + race entry fee(£25-35 based on this year)

61st World Coal Carrying Championships. Can I call myself a world champion now?
There were hundreds of champions in Gawthorpe today. Little kids running with beaming smiles in the damp conditions and all the Ladies and Gents carrying, dragging and hauling their coal along the 1km course.
Over 40s champion trophy for me but my team I trained also did amazing. Louise O'Reilly 5th in the ladies open. Ed G and Matt P both finished within the top 12 in the Over 40s with me.
