Everything is better shared with friends and here are some of our fundraisers enjoying an afternoon tea together this week. It was also a great photo opportunity to celebrate raising a whopping £2182.65 at the recent ABBA evening. Thank you once again to all of our supporters and we hope to see you very soon at our next fundraising event.

Last Friday, we danced the night away to ABBA and raised the huge sum of £2182.65 !! It was a fabulous evening and our fundraising group would like to thank everyone who came and joined in all the fun. We are so grateful to our brilliant vocalist Chiquitita, our quiz writer, the staff at Crofton WMC and to everyone who donated prizes, thank you. Our fundraising events rely on your support and generosity. It was lovely to see so many new faces and old friends too and we look forward to seeing you next year!

Come and join our fun ABBA event on Friday 25 July. Tickets only £10 and you can pay at the door. What a great evening we have planned for you and all in aid of the Wakefield Hospice. There will be an ice breaker quiz before the show starts, a raffle and lots more. Please see poster for details.

Have you got your dancing shoes ready because our ABBA event is only 2 weeks away. Let’s get together for an evening of fun and enjoy singing to our favourite songs as we dance the night away. We hope you enjoyed your Afternoon Cream Tea today. It was lovely to see so many of our regular supporters and new ones too. The fundraising team wish to say a big thank you to everyone who came along and helped to raise the sum of £1000 for the Wakefield Hospice. Amazing!

Thank you to the extra volunteers who did a fantastic job, we couldn’t manage without you, to Lofthouse Security Systems for sponsoring the event and lastly, we wish to thank our loyal stall holders for always supporting us.

Final call for our annual summer Cream Tea on Friday 4th July 2-4pm at Sandal Rugby Club. Our ladies have been working really hard preparing for this event, baking and creating some lovely craft items to tempt you. Please come and support us and help to raise much needed funds for the Wakefield Hospice and thank you once again to Lofthouse Security Systems for sponsoring this event.

Hello friends, it’s time to get ready for our annual summer cream tea on Friday 4th July 2-4pm at Sandal Rugby Club. There will be plenty of space for wheel chair access and browsing stalls too as we have booked all of the rooms. Your cream tea includes fresh cream and jam scones and a hot drink. Let’s get together, meet up with friends and support the Wakefield Hospice.

Tickets for our ABBA music evening are available now! This is a really fun evening where you can dance and sing along to your favourite ABBA songs, so why not spread the word, get in touch with friends and organise a great night out together.

Exciting news, we have 2 summer events on the horizon. On Friday 4 July at Sandal Rugby Club is our Afternoon Cream Tea (2-4pm) AND back by popular demand is our ABBA music evening on Friday 25 July at Crofton WMC 7:45pm. (Please note the change of venue from last year). Don’t forget to add the 4 July and 25 July to your busy calendar, we will be posting more details shortly. Thank you for supporting the Wakefield Hospice.
