This , Emma said: "Thank you to Keeley and Annie for bringing our daughter into the world on 18th November and thank you to the rest of the Pinderfields maternity team for their responsive care in what was a whirlwind of a day - I came in for a scan and somewhat unexpectedly came home with a baby only a few hours later.

"I really felt listened to and that plans were changed based on what I could communicate was happening in my body. Both my midwives were direct but compassionate and I was informed at all times as to what was happening, why and how to best get our baby here safely.

"I can't express enough how positive the experience was, despite it being a little different to what was planned!"

"After a difficult natural birth with our little boy nearly 4 years old ago we opted for an elective caesarean this time and it was everything we wanted to welcome our daughter into the world. Everyone on the PACU team was fabulous! Everyone explained everything to us, no question was silly and it made the whole experience so enjoyable! Special shout out to Donna, who kept us calm and relaxed throughout and Liz who did a fabulous job bringing Marnie safely into the world, all whilst singing along to our playlist! We had so many wonderful midwives and student midwives in recovery and on the ward after, everyone working hard to support us with feeding which wasn’t the easiest! Shout out to Rachel from FAB team who sat with us and helped us in having a breastfeeding breakthrough!

"Above all, a massive thank you to Martha, our gorgeous community midwife who went above and beyond to ensure I received the best care throughout a very difficult pregnancy. We can’t thank her enough, it made some difficult and emotional times so much easier knowing she was only a phone call or message away. Our little family is complete."

Earlier this month, Chloe and Levi welcomed their baby boy, Tommy, at Bronte Birth Centre - an experience Chloe describes as “home from home”.

Chloe said: "After being encouraged and empowered by the midwives, I experienced the labour I had always hoped for. The midwives couldn’t do enough for us – I felt so in control of my body and my environment. What a dream."

Congratulations to Chloe, Levi and their family and thank you for sharing your beautiful birth story with us. đź’™

This , Seda told us: "I would like to sincerely thank everyone at Pinderfields Hospital who was involved in the birth of my babies.

"From the moment I arrived, I felt supported, listened to and well cared for. Although my planned caesarean section needed to become an urgent one, I felt calm and reassured throughout. Everything was explained clearly, and my wishes were respected at every stage of my care.

"I would like to thank Dr Prieya, Mehrnaz and Dr Thomas for their professionalism and reassurance during such an important time. Their calm and attentive approach made a real difference to my experience.

"I am especially grateful to Ms Kousar, who looked after me throughout my pregnancy. She was always reassuring, and knowing she was overseeing my care meant a great deal to me. I was very touched that she came to see me after hearing that I had been brought into triage - a gesture I will always appreciate.

"My sincere thanks also go to the nurses, Sumy and Sunitha, and the midwives, Ade, Katie, Shibi and Ammarah, for their kindness, patience and continuous support.

"I would also like to thank Rhiyam and Leya (ODPs) for their support in theatre, as well as Safa and Chloe (students) for their respectful and caring presence, and Jordan and Amber (MSWs) for their help during my stay.

"I feel incredibly grateful for the care I received and for everyone who helped bring my babies safely into the world. Thank you for making what could have been an overwhelming experience such a positive one."
