This , Shona said: "Dear Emma, Jodie, Rachel, Laura and all the wonderful staff who helped us bring our beautiful girl into the world back on the 18th August - thank you so much for the incredible care and kindness.
"The support you gave us during induction, labour, the birth of our Erin and afterwards was nothing short of outstanding. You made me feel safe, respected, and looked after at such an important, vulnerable time in our lives.

"Throughout the entire induction and labour, they guided us through every step with confidence and kindness. I was very nervous and anxious prior to giving birth and not at any point did I feel anxious about any of it! Emma made us feel especially looked after with her warmth and great humour!

"You are all amazing at what you do and we will be forever grateful for making this experience truly magical for us and for bringing our baby girl safely into the world! Erin is 3 months old now and is thriving, thank you so much."

"All the midwives we encountered whilst in Pinderfields Hospital were amazing but a special mention must go to Alison who stayed with me after her shift had ended to make sure I was okay. She made the whole experience perfect and I couldn’t have wished for a better midwife. She was so reassuring and calming and made me feel at ease the whole time even during the complications. We were so blessed to have her as our midwife and she is a credit to the hospital."

Baby Robin was born at Pinderfields Birth Centre on 1 November, and the family were among the first to be photographed by our new wall mural, funded by MY Hospitals Charity đź’™

Mum, Chelsea, shared: "Robin was delivered by student midwife Tanisha and midwife Jodie. They were both amazing, but Tanisha blew me away with how professional she was. The only thing that gave away she was a student was her uniform - you’d never have guessed otherwise. It was the best experience I’ve ever had."

We'd love to see your photos and share your birth stories. To share yours, just send us a message to our inbox đź’•

"I had a very quick labour (1 hour and 40 minutes in total) and Beth, our midwife, kept me calm and reassured me that I could do it. Baby Sylvie was delivered in the birthing pool and we are still on a high from such a wonderful experience. Thank you so much for your care."
