Great company for Branching Out Netwalking this morning with and Tracy with honorary member Ellie from Mint HR we considered ourselves as trees and used the changing seasons to purge the things that no longer serve us by writing them on leave and releasing them into the stream (with a lot less water than anticipated, thank you ant for the "get it gone now stick" to help things on their way! 🙂🌳

The next netwalk is 25th september 10-12 in Thornes park link below and in bio!

You know it's autumn when the cat wakes you up at 5am chasing a spider so big that it could eat birds, you walk into a spider web going through the porch and one has made a web from the house to your car!

Have total respect for spiders, but also not their biggest fan, doing legs and icky feeling webs 🤢🌳

Happy Tuesday folks!

Hey to those who are new here!

Here's a bit about me; i could probably add more, but wouldn't get it all on here😂

I'm Zoe, Occupational and Nature Therapist; I use nature to support women experiencing anxiety, stress and burnout to find calm, regain their energy and motivation and reconnect to themselves and the important people in their lives!

I have always loved nature and it was definitely the best healer in helping me recover from burnout and it remains my safe and happy place. If you have questions or this resonates, please DM me.

What's your favourite nature?🙂🌳

Love this time of year; here's a few of my harvests from the last week!

Even if you aren't a grower, this time of year is a time for harvesting; if you want to explore and learn from natures messages to support you through your own seasons, join myself and Claire for Whispers of the Wild Talking Circle!

In Septembers session we will be focusing on - Offering Our Gifts

We will be exploring how at this time of year we look towards balance, and harvesting what we’ve grown. We will focus on what our own personal gifts are, and how we can use these to create our foundations of further discovery.🙂🌳

join us, any questions, please DM, we look forward to seeing you!

“I thought it would be fine to leave it a bit longer…..I gave it some water and this happened!”

Famous last words from the husband leaving a courgette on the plant, its not quite a baseball bat, but its pretty sizeable!

In my newsletter coming out on Monday I talk about “bolting” in plants and the similarities to us perceiving threats to our being. “Bolting” happens when a plant senses stress — heat, drought or flood, overcrowding — and rushes to flower and set seed. It’s nature’s way of ensuring survival, but it comes at a cost: flavour changes, growth stops, and the plant’s energy is redirected entirely into reproduction.

Whilst this isn’t “bolting”, it’s the plant responding to being watered appropriately- it’s the opposite, its being cared for an nourished and has the appropriate climate to grow in.

If you want to understand more about “bolting” and how you could take steps to leaving fight or flight mode and being calmer and more balanced, you can sign up for my newsletter via the link in the bio! If you sign up between now and Monday you will receive my FREE Mini toolkit with 3 outdoor resets for when your brain feels scrambled! 🙂🌳

Today in numbers
2hrs
22miles
1puncture
2 helpers
2pumps
1 amazing shower
2 big ripe tomatoes

Lots of 2s, I'm sure that has a significance somewhere?
Otherwise a fab explore further down the trans-penine trail and a section I've not been on before, tons of blackberries, an old church and ghost stations!

Totally forgot to take pics of the puncture and the hugest thorn I've ever seen (it was over an inch long!), would've made a great post 🙈 but instead you can see the grease on my leg from balancing the tyre on it 😹🌳

how are you spending this sunny friday?
