📱 Let’s Talk About Social Media Safety – Together 💬

Social media is a big part of life for many children and young people - it can be a great space to share, connect and have fun. But just like in the real world, it’s important to stay safe online too.

To the young people:
You don’t need to be perfect online. If something makes you feel uncomfortable or unsure - whether it’s a message, a video, or a challenge – it’s always okay to pause, say no, or talk to someone you trust. You deserve to feel safe, respected, and supported.

To the parents and carers:
You don’t need to be tech experts to support your child. Keeping open, regular conversations going about their online world can make a big difference. Ask questions, listen without judgement, and let them know they can come to you - no matter what.

We’re all learning as we go, and we’re stronger when we work together.

💙 Let’s keep the conversation going.
