Alternative Care provides excellent services for Adult Opportunities, Supported Living and Community Care for a variety of needs. We offer high quality of support for people with learning difficulties, mental health, brain injuries and physical disabilities in the community. We help them with all aspects of life including domestic support, meals and nutrition, access to leisure and social activities, health care, medication and much more. We embrace partnership and working with others such as community groups, learning disability teams and families. We provide care 7 days a week, around the clock, for over 100 individuals in Wakefield and the surrounding town’s area. Alternative Care gives people the support they need to lead a vibrant and fulfilled life - creating access to every opportunity we can help to build pro-active and varied lifestyles.
