A month which is the halfway point between Winter and Spring. A month of snowdrops and longer days. Valentines for the lovers and those of you alone a time to fill up our cups with love.

As we close for another week on the last day of January, I just wanted to say thank you for your custom this week.
As always it’s so lovely to see you all.

Tomorrow marks the 1st day of February and a full moon, a snow moon in the sign of Leo.

The 1st of February is known as Imbolc and it’s the mid way between the Wnter Solstice and the Spring Equinox.

It’s already much lighter on an afternoon, and the days feel longer. Love it when the light returns. 💛

I’ve posted a few ways to enjoy the old traditions of Imbolc..

🌾 What Is Imbolc?

Imbolc (pronounced IM-bolk or IM-olc) is traditionally celebrated around February 1–2, marking the midpoint between Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox.

The name likely comes from Old Irish i mbolg —

“in the belly”

Referring to:
• Ewes becoming pregnant or lactating
• Seeds stirring beneath frozen soil
• Ideas, plans, and magic forming before manifestation

Imbolc is about potential, not proof.

WHAT IS A SOUND BATH?

It’s an acoustic sound healing journey using various instruments including sound bowls that allows the listener to enter a meditative state and to feel calm, relaxed, grounded, and focused. You might feel different mental, emotional, and physical sensations throughout the session. It could be like floating on a cloud, feeling peaceful, happy, energized, or relaxed.

Sound healing traces its roots back to ancient civilizations such as Greece, Egypt, and India. These societies believed in the transformative healing power of sound and used methods such as singing bowls, chanting, and tuning forks to promote a harmonious environment for the body to heal itself.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING 💫

Bring a yoga mat, a bottle of water and wear comfortable clothes. The goal here is to relax. We have pillows and blankets for use, but if you prefer to feel bring your own or anything you need to help you relax that’s absolutely fine.
