Hi there! It's been a while, so I just wanted to say hi, hope you're all doing ok and managing to find some time to enjoy the sun (when it decides to shine).
Life can get a little crazy and we can easily get swept away with it all. So, something I find useful to do each day is take a minute to stop, take a breath, and commit to doing one thing each day that I LOVE. It can be small and fleeting, but it is something I WANT to do not necessarily something I need or have to do. Just for the fun of it. Being connected to out values is so important, especially when times get tough and life is busy. What is important to you? What would bring a smile to your face or a moment of rest?
I have a couple of free appointments coming up so please let me know if you or anyone you know would like to consider some CBT. The best way to reach me is via email: abigail.bradbury.cbt@gmail.com
Here is some feedback from someone I recently worked with:
"Before starting CBT, I believed therapy and counselling were unnecessary and that I should simply be able to “get on with it.”
However, going through the process with Abi completely changed my perspective. It helped me realise that I wasn’t alone in my thoughts, feelings, or experiences, and that what I was going through was far more common than I had imagined.
Abi was understanding, relatable, and supportive throughout. She helped me develop practical tools to manage situations more effectively, and she always took the time to listen without ever making me feel judged or silly.
Over the course of the therapy, I have noticed a significant growth in my confidence and feel much calmer in myself. Others around me have noticed this change too, which really shows the difference it has made.
In our final session, we revisited my initial statement of thoughts and feelings. Reading it back was powerful and difficult, but it really highlighted how far I’ve come. The progress I’ve made through this process has been invaluable, and I feel confident that I now have the right tools to continue moving forward."

I hope this gives you some confidence to take a leap of faith and reach out for help too.
