Tomorrow morning 3,000 runners will take to the streets for the annual and 🏃‍♂️

If you are taking part or coming to cheer our runners on remember to tag us in your posts! ✉

The Truth 💚
Hospices offer specialist medical care, but the atmosphere is completely different from a hospital. Rooms are calm, comfortable, and personal, with time for meaningful conversations and family moments. The focus is on holistic care — physical, emotional, and practical— not just medical treatment.

Both the Wakefield 10K and Wakefield 5K are now SOLD OUT, and as such there will be no sign up available on the day.

We would like to offer our sincerest gratitude to the entire Wakefield community for the understanding regarding the road closures associated with this event 💚

These closures are of paramount importance in keeping all those associated with the event safe, our biggest fundraising event of the year which last year helped to raise over £100,000 for local hospice care 🫂

A first-look at the next generation of hospice care 💚

We have teamed up with specialist CGI studio 3D CAD Visuals to produce a virtual flythrough of what the finished Fit for the Future project will look like, featuring new and upgraded bedrooms, new break-out spaces and refreshed and improved interiors throughout the Inpatient Unit.
