Let me clear this up once and for all. 👇
There is so much misinformation floating around about dermal filler and I see the impact of it every day in clinic patients who are too scared to ask questions, or who've been misled elsewhere.
❌ MYTH: Filler is permanent.
✅ FACT: Most hyaluronic acid fillers dissolve naturally within 12–18 months and are fully reversible with hyaluronidase if needed.
❌ MYTH: Once you start, you can't stop.
✅ FACT: Stopping filler doesn't make you look worse than before. Your face simply returns to its natural state over time.
❌ MYTH: Filler always looks obvious.
✅ FACT: Done correctly, nobody should be able to tell. The goal is always natural enhancement.
❌ MYTH: Filler is just for lips.
✅ FACT: Strategic filler can restore volume to cheeks, temples, jawline, chin and hands.
❌ MYTH: It's not safe.
✅ FACT: In trained, qualified hands with the right products, dermal filler has an excellent safety profile.
