Do you know that unless our phone is on ‘Airplane Mode’ or completely powered off, it is constantly emitting radio frequency microwave radiation as it tries to connect to a cellular network, WIFI, or to a Bluetooth device? That is why one of the first things to advise your clients for EMF protection is to use airplane mode - turning devices off or onto airplane mode when they are not using them. On most phones this will turn off all radiation emissions but some phones need to have the WIFI and Bluetooth deactivated manually.
Another advice for EMFs protection is to keep devices like tablets or mobile phones away from the body when they are not in use and avoid using the phone next to the ear. EMF radiation-free Air Tube Earbud headphones, for example, are excellent to use instead of the wired and wireless ones as they eliminate EMF radiation to the head and ears.
When it comes to Wi-fi, it is best to use an Ethernet cord instead whenever possible and unplug the Wi-Fi router when it is not in use, especially during sleep. The same applies to mobile phones –switch them off at night. Studies show EMFs perturb the release of the hormones the body needs to recover during sleep, which not only upsets our sleep pattern but also affects the immune system. In our next post, we will share Emma Lane’s top devices for EMF protection.

One of the most commonly used sources of EMFs are mobile phones and there is a LOT of science, showing their detrimental effect on our health.
In 2016 the National Toxicology Program, published findings of what is considered by many as the world’s largest, most well-designed study of its type on cell phone radiation. They found that the link between mobile phone radiation and cancer was so clear that they decided that further studies needed to be done just to be sure they hadn’t made a mistake. Other studies, published in 2018, also concluded: "Clear Evidence of Cancer" from mobile phone radiation.
Prior to that the biggest study on cell phone radiation was the $25 million Interphone study, set-up by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC). It found that regular use of a mobile phone by adults can significantly increase the risk of gliomas by 40% with 1640 hours or more of use. 1640 hours equates to about 30 minutes per day over ten years.
Moreover, “malignant brain tumours are the most common cause of cancer-related deaths in adolescents and young adults aged 15-39 and the most common cancer occurring among 15–19-year-olds.”

Do you have clients who despite going to bed early and following a good sleep routine still feel like they can’t get the full benefits of deep restorative sleep? How about checking their EMF exposure?
Due to the nature of EMFs (frequencies) they have a direct impact on our brain waves. Research shows that EMFs can interfere in the whole spectrum of brain waves including delta, theta, alpha, beta, and gamma. Throughout the day and night our brain waves shift into different states, assisting us to fall asleep at night, and wake up in the morning. During sleep, the brain goes into theta when we’re dreaming and delta when we’re in deep, restorative sleep. If our brain isn’t able to reach these frequencies then we’ll miss out on the benefits that these stages of sleep provide.
Therefore, EMF exposure and the resulting dysregulation of brain waves can further contribute to sleep disturbances. Even if you are able to fall asleep, EMFs may be preventing a deep, restorative sleep, which is something to consider with clients, suffering from sleep issues.

Do you have clients who struggle with falling asleep? As you know melatonin – our sleep hormone, is a crucial component of our circadian rhythm (the internal clock that alerts the body when to wake, sleep, and eat).
When our circadian rhythm is in balance, the body knows when it’s time to go to bed, and we can fall asleep easily. Research in both humans and animals shows that EMFs can produce significant changes in the body’s ability to produce melatonin. This may be due to the fact that our pineal gland (which is responsible for producing melatonin) senses EMFs as light. One of the ways in which our body stays on track with its circadian rhythm is by sensing light. However, if the body is sensing electromagnetic waves (WIFI for example) that are streaming through our home as light, this can cause a significant issue with our circadian rhythm, and especially melatonin production.

Do you know that exposure to EMFs causes an increase in free radical concentrations? When free radical levels increase and are left unchecked, the reactive atoms can cause destruction through a process known as oxidative stress which can lead to a myriad of chronic illnesses.
As the unstable free radicals, journey through our body, they continually cause oxidative stress. This means they injure crucial components of our healthy cells. As the damage accumulates, the healthy cells will lose the ability to function properly and this leads to long-term damage to proteins, lipids, and DNA – which can in turn impede the way cells function and affect their ability to reproduce. The accumulation of damage to the cells is what leads to the health risks associated with elevated levels of EMF exposure.

5G (fifth-generation wireless) is the latest wireless network technology that’s designed to transmit digital data even more quickly and efficiently, with an amplified ability to pe*****te through obstacles e.g., through the walls of buildings.
Not only do new 5G towers need to be installed, but this new technology also requires an even greater density of towers to operate. This influx of 5G EMF radiation, however, amplifies the problem of excessive levels of EMF exposure for 2 main reasons:
• Rather than replacing 4G or 3G older networks, 5G towers simply accompany them and work in conjunction with the existing towers – multiplying EMF levels and creating unprecedented levels of radiation;

• There are NO studies on its short and long-term effects on human health. We know the dangers of EMFs but we have no clear understanding of the exact implications that these expedited levels of EMF radiation will have on our health.
So what can we do to protect ourselves while still enjoying the conveniences of technology? Find in our next posts.

Do you have clients who often forget the importance of sleep for their body’s daily maintenance and repair? It is always wise to remind them that consistently getting a good night’s sleep supports not only their immune system, but also helps them stay at a healthier weight, lower their risk for weight gain, poor blood sugar control, and brain fog, and further reduces stress allowing them to have better moods too.
Sleep pretty much affects every system in the body, and consistently getting poor sleep is a major contributing factor for serious health issues. Unsurprisingly, with the increase in sleep disturbances, we are also experiencing an increase in the prevalence of EMFs (electromagnetic frequencies). That is why in our next posts we will share the effects EMFs have on our bodies and what you can do with your clients and yourself to help the body manage these.

EMFs (electromagnetic fields) can disrupt our body’s natural rhythms by impacting the body on an energetic and electrical level. The body has its own electrical currents and energetic fields that are the basis for pretty much every function it carries out.
From an energetic perspective, there is a field of energy around our body called our biofield. EMF frequencies, however, can impact our body’s natural energetic fields such as our brain waves. From an electrical perspective, every cell in our body requires the use of electrical potentials to allow signalling and transmissions to take place. Through something called voltage-gated calcium channels (VGCC) our cells communicate with each other to carry out various vital functions. These subtle currents of electricity are the basis for much of the activity that happens in your body on a cellular level.
When these non-native frequencies disrupt our own field of energy and electrical potentials, our body has difficulty communicating, and therefore can impact the functioning of our systems. It is very important to make your clients aware of these effects so they be more motivated to reduce their exposure and wear EMFs reducing devices. In our next post, we will share with you Emma Lane’s best practices on how to do this.

Electromagnetic fields, also known as EMFs, are a form of radiation, an invisible field of energy that can be absorbed by the body. EMFs are generated when voltage or electricity flows in a given direction. While this may sound a little high-tech, in reality we’ve been living in the constant presence of an electromagnetic field since time began. The sun, the earth, and our own body emits EMFs. However, since the invention of electricity, humans have been steadily increasing EMF levels across the face of the earth.
Most modern technology we depend on produces electromagnetic fields some examples of these include:
• Computers & mobile phones
• Televisions & radio signals
• Power lines, Wi-Fi & Bluetooth
• Smart meters (digital electric and gas meters that measure consumption)
• UV lights & X-rays
• MRIs
As EMF levels steadily rise, so do the health risks that come along with these invisible fields of energy. More on that can be found in our article here: https://bit.ly/3zqFJZX

Do you know that inflammation in the GI tract can damage the intestinal lining and impair the absorption of the biochemicals that are the raw ingredients for producing female hormones?
This is the case because within certain areas of the small intestine certain vitamins and minerals are absorb, such as B6 in the 1st part. Not enough B6, for example, shows an inability to clear estrogen from the liver in relation to progesterone. Therefore, digestion has a phenomenal effect on hormonal irregularities and that is why we are sharing more valuable knowledge on this issue today in our article here: http://bit.ly/1WajiQr
