Five Towns Brewery wins best LocAle at York Camra festival ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Shadow of a Giant is an 8% ABV chocolate stout made by Five Towns Brewery of Wakefield.

It took gold in the York Camra LocAle competition, which judges beers made within 25 miles of the festival location- St Lawrence Church.

The ‘best local beer’ at the York Camra beer festival was brewed in a back garden shed.

Today we’d like to say a huge thank you to Malcolm Bristow from Five Towns Brewery Wakefield and all the amazing supporters at Wakefield Labour Club for their brilliant East West Fest Beer Festival earlier this year, raising an incredible £3,041 for Candlelighters! ✨

Over the last ten years, Malcolm – alongside a dedicated team of friends and family – has raised more than £17,400 to support children and families facing childhood cancer. With their sights set on smashing the £20,000 milestone next year, we’re so grateful for their ongoing commitment.
