Today we’d like to say a huge thank you to Malcolm Bristow from Five Towns Brewery Wakefield and all the amazing supporters at Wakefield Labour Club for their brilliant East West Fest Beer Festival earlier this year, raising an incredible £3,041 for Candlelighters! ✨

Over the last ten years, Malcolm – alongside a dedicated team of friends and family – has raised more than £17,400 to support children and families facing childhood cancer. With their sights set on smashing the £20,000 milestone next year, we’re so grateful for their ongoing commitment.

On Thursday we met with the lovely Donna from Candlelighters to hand over the money raised for this fantastic charity. They support children with cancer and look out for the whole family. We are so proud to give them £3041 which was raised at our East vs. West beer festival 2025.

📣 We are pleased to announce the total amount raised from our Charity Beer Festival May 2025! 🍻

£3041 has been raised for Candlelighters 🕯️

The raffle total £223 has been donated to Teenage Cancer Trust via a sponsorship for the great north run 🏃🏻
