How is everyone doing?

Loads of fitness influencers on the internet are basically at each other's throats, constantly dissing one another. I've ditched most of them and now stick to the folks I genuinely vibe with, like Paul Saladino, Shaun Baker, and Eddie Abbew.

James Smith used to be my go-to, but now he's all about complaining and trash-talking others. It's kinda funny that he warns about eating disorders from influencers but suggests people track every calorie on apps like MyFitnessPal.

I'd rather just enjoy foods I know are good for me and eat as much as I want, rather than stressing over hitting a calorie target with processed stuff pretending to be healthy.

This morning, I returned to the gym, opting for light weights and half of a spin class—keeping it gentle on the body..hopefully I'll be able to slowly increase over time. ... It's a start!

How is everyone doing?

I began the 75-day challenge on January 1st, but by the 5th, I ended up in A&E with swollen feet and ankles. GP nurse prac sent me for an x-ray as the one was so swollen he thought I might have broken a bone somehow .... But of course no breaks to worry about. Just my body no liking the extra movement.

I've realised I need to shift my focus to prioritising diet and walking, along with maybe two half-spin classes per week. Once I master that, I'll gradually incorporate more. It's quite frustrating, but I'm determined.

Sticking to the plan became a struggle as my body rebelled in the last two days, resulting in a setback for the 75-day challenge.

Exercise was off the table due to unforeseen issues, leading to a visit to the minor injuries unit for an X-ray as advised by my GP.

Fortunately, no broken bones were found, as expected.
I realised I had a dead stimulator, which could shed some light on my recent leg symptoms.

With the battery recharged and a little swelling reduced, I hope to include stretching and mobility work later while staying dedicated to the remaining days of the challenge.

Diet has be on point. Still working hard with the rest of the challenge, workout taking a back seat until this eases.

Entering Day 3, fatigue is creeping in already.
I'm hoping my body adjusts to the new diet and routine soon.

During tough times, it's essential to dig in and push through. Hope you're all doing great!

Day 2 has started, and getting myself moving this morning was a challenge. Despite that, I pushed through and spent 45 minutes at the gym. My main focus for this challenge is to regain mobility and improve my overall health. Today's session included back stretching, various lat pull-downs with grip changes, although the shoulder discomfort made it challenging. I incorporated plenty of foam rolling and shoulder mobility work. Dealing with a hernia, I had to cut short attempts at core exercises. Still, I managed to complete a 45-minute "workout".

I support individuals striving for healthier lifestyles, but I'm not a fan of the current trend in plant-based diets that promotes the consumption of chemically processed 'foods'.

As omnivores, our diet should ideally include meat, organs, as well as some fruits and vegetables.

My goal is to focus on these foods only over the next 75 days.

In the 75-day hard challenge, it's a requirement to read at least 10 pages from an inspirational book. I have a collection that I'm determined to make headway in over the next 75 days.

If anyone wants to give the 75-day hard challenge a go. Here is a PDF that will help you keep track.
