💡 A simple little hack that’s really helped me in 2025…
I’ve started renaming my alarms on my phone with small reminders of the habits I want to build.
Instead of just saying “7:30am,” it says “I am calm in the mornings.”
At 6pm, it nudges me with “I am a phone-free dad.”
At 9:30pm, it reminds me to put my phone down and prioritise sleep.
It’s a simple thing, but it gives me that extra reminder of how I want to live each day - to slow down, be more present.
Do I hit every one of these goals every day?
Definitely not. But that’s not the point. The point is to keep nudging myself to create these better habits, one reminder at a time.
