Glowing… because I’m overflowing ✨

Yesterday was a reminder that caring for my energy and wellbeing matters.

I took time to slow down and intentionally restore myself — allowing space for rest, balance, and calm. I received Reiki from the beautiful 🤍
As a Reiki Master myself, I recognise how important it is to regularly support my own wellbeing, not just give to others. This can be a hard thing sometimes.

Yesterday also brought a completely unexpected act of kindness from a lovely friend. A truly thoughtful and caring gesture that made my heart smile & reminded me that being seen and supported makes such a difference… Thank you .meg (you beautiful human! 🤍)

When life pulls you from pillar to post…
When your days are full and your energy feels stretched…
When you’re always showing up for others…

✨ This is your gentle reminder ✨
Taking time to recharge is not selfish.
Receiving care is part of staying well.
A full cup allows you to give from a place of steadiness, not depletion.

✨January 1st energy ✨

A lovely new client booked a Reiki with chimes session with me on the 1st. A beautiful way to begin her 2026 self-care journey by supporting relaxation, emotional balance, and deeper inner connection.

This room was set with calm intention, because the space matters just as much as the treatment.🤍✨

💡 A simple little hack that’s really helped me in 2025…

I’ve started renaming my alarms on my phone with small reminders of the habits I want to build.

Instead of just saying “7:30am,” it says “I am calm in the mornings.”

At 6pm, it nudges me with “I am a phone-free dad.”

At 9:30pm, it reminds me to put my phone down and prioritise sleep.

It’s a simple thing, but it gives me that extra reminder of how I want to live each day - to slow down, be more present.

Do I hit every one of these goals every day?

Definitely not. But that’s not the point. The point is to keep nudging myself to create these better habits, one reminder at a time.
