Apple Blossom Court wallasey Apple Blossom court offers both long - term and short - term plus respite care for Upto 16 adults with learning disabilities.

Here at apple blossom we strive in providing the absolute best and well managed care. we employ highly professional and friendly support workers,
with their years of experience and training, all work to the highest possible standard. We have a variety of well appointed rooms that spread across 3 floors. We have 16 single bedrooms, and a large garden to the rear we have a kitchen, 2 dining rooms, a communal lounge, arts and crafts room, 1st floor lounge, sensory room, laundry room, toilets and separate shower/ bathing rooms. We have a dedicated domestic team to make sure the home is clean. Our grounds and gardens are maintained by our maintenance team. To ensure a variety of freshly sourced and well balanced meals, our on site chef is on hand preparing, cooking and serving food 7 days a week. Our laundry assistant completes all the washing, drying, ironing and organising of our residents clothing. We believe in providing tailor made care and support that promotes equality, diversity and inclusion that suits each individuals needs, so in addition to our skilled team of support staff on hand we also employ a 1-1 support worker that works alongside each individual, providing them solely with 1-1 direct care throughout the day, focusing on their preferences and needs we recognise the importance of religious, social and cultural preferences, which is we include this in their day to day care, to ensure our residents maintain their individual identity and feel at home. The well-being of our residents is our main priority. from fun day’s out, or horticulture activities in our gardens, to household chores - our activities coordinator arranges, plans and participates in a wide range of activities and excursions for all to enjoy and get involved in, not only does this ensure each day is different and enjoyable but increases knowledge and teaches new skills - strengthening abilities. We believe Every individual deserves to be offered the same opportunities and treated with respect . which is why at apple blossom court we provide inclusive care and support , offering choice, promoting individuality and creating a fun enjoyable friendly home.

Such a busy day but all worth it 🥰

Firstly we celebrated one of our staff members 10th year at Apple blossom! 🌸
We then went on to a cheeky little trip to McDonalds (one of our residents absolute favourites!🤤) whilst taking a stroll through the park to get back home 🏡
Then what’s better than a game of bowling where our residents absolutely had a ball 🎳
After a lovely day we decided to end it by getting a chippy down the front 😋
Despite the weather we havnt let that stop us 🤍
The last couple of pictures we also had one of our staffs newest arrival… their beautiful grandson who came to give us a visit and lots of cuddles 🥰

10 whole years!? ‼️

10 years one of our staff members Dawn has been working at our home, she’s made enough memories to last a life time… she’s been there through every one of our residents milestones, ups, downs & most importantly she’s stuck by the residents day in and day out and always shown up for them🤍

So happy the weather is warming up abit so we started our morning off with a little slow walk to the park for some fresh air….
Then we got ourselves some front row tickets to go see a Diana Ross tribute at the Hungry Horse which was so good & made us feel so welcome 🤗
Our residents loved having a sing along and a cheeky little boogie 💃 🪩

Our valentines party, “love is in the air” 🎉 💘

To start off our day we decorated valentines gingerbread cookies 🍪 😋
Followed by, making our own valentines cards which our residents choose who to give them to and their reasons why… might I add the reasons were so heartwarming & made us realise why we really do love our job 🥺🤍
Then we went on to starting our party off strong with lots of love songs, dancing, signing and even having our very own performances by some of our residents which was so lovely to see 🩷
We then played “pass the balloon” where each balloon had a number on, our residents tell us the number and we read out positive sweet quotes to each resident individually to make them know how loved they are 🥰
We have had such an amazing day and was so nice to see everyone involved ❤️

We are all for independence around here 👏

In our home we love to promote independence… so tonight one of our residents decided she wanted to make spaghetti bolognaise by herself with no help unless needed 😌
She loved adding her own little touches in by using the different herbs of her choice!

We have a 24hr contract for 2 x nights a week at Apple Blossom Court- 8pm till 8am

Providing a calm and reassuring presence throughout the night
Supporting residents with personal care where required
Carrying out regular checks and responding to any needs during the night
Completing night-time records and handovers accurately
Ensuring the home remains safe, secure, and well-presented

Kind, patient, and dependable
Comfortable working night shifts
Experience in care is preferred, but not essential – full training provided
A genuine passion for supporting people with learning disabilities
