Today I saw a comment saying I’ve put all my weight back on and more. That hurts to hear, but it’s a lesson I’ve learned the hard way. If you go back to your old habits, the results come back too. Yo-yo dieting is common, but it’s not a failure in you, it's a signal that quick fixes don’t last.
What helped me shift:
* Focus on balance, not perfection: choose nourishing foods most of the time, and allow for treats without guilt.
* Move for joy, not punishment: find activities you actually enjoy.
* Prioritise consistency over intensity: small, steady changes beat drastic swings.
*Listen to your body: sleep, stress management, and hydration matter as much as meals.
Our plan is simple and sustainable: aim for the 80/20 (healthy choices most of the time, with room for life’s pleasures) and build habits that fit real life, not an ideal week.
