Often when we are in grief, we can have the tendency to be really harsh with ourselves!
Or we can use toxic positivity as a coping strategy.
Or just feel like we are just doing grief plain wrong.
Grief is brutal, and during this time we have fundamental needs that as a grief educator and therapeutic coach I strive to meet:
⚪To have your pain witnessed
⚪To express your feelings
⚪To release the burden of guilt
⚪To be free of old wounds
⚪To integrate the pain and love
⚪To find meaning in life after loss
I am going to write more about these over the coming days,
But is there anything else that you feel you need in grief?
