Becoming a yoga elder entails accruing years of teaching experience and training - it's not a fast track process ! If you're new to yoga and looking for a class, check out your teacher's qualifications and experience.

Don't get me wrong - this doesn't mean avoiding new teachers. We all have to start somewhere, and I'm forever grateful to those who joined me when I started teaching 21 years ago. But most teachers who are putting the effort in to learning how to teach will be delighted to tell you about their training, so ask them !

After a rather emotional evening last night I would like to express my sincere and heartfelt thanks for all your thoughtfulness, your kind words , your beautiful, awesome gifts but most of all I would like to thank you for presence - not only to all those gorgeous souls who showed up at amazing New Brighton Cappadocia last night but also to everyone who helped me on my yoga journey over the last few decades, everyone who showed up and was involved with my classes and especially at Yoga You Sanctuary sharing not just yoga but friendship and meaningful connections.

THANK YOU !

As I embrace massive changes the universe has in store this year please know that although it feels like the end of an era - I will be back in an online capacity in due course.

In the meantime it is my utmost wish that you are well, that you look after yourselves, and remember : you have built your yoga practice on a bedrock of knowledge that will support you always and that regularity of practice is key.
At anytime you are usually only one yoga session away from a really good mood and feeling that connection within and tapping into the energy that brought us together in the first place.

In every sense of the word my heart is brimming with gratitude for all the beautiful waves of ‘connections’ that yoga has brought me so very often.

As I step into a new phase of my life it’s definitely time to embrace the changes and challenges the universe has in store with acceptance and positive anticipation…
If there’s one thing I’ve learned is that not doing so is often more difficult than facing things full on .

Although I’m retiring from the glorious Yoga You Sanctuary ‘yoga is in my blood’ and it is my intention to return to online teaching in due course when I’m ready.

Looking forward to seeing many of you soon for our impending shindig and I’ve been blown away by all your kindness, all your love and meaningful connections, it is so very much appreciated.

I’ve been offering Pure Nidra for over 12 years at Yoga You Sanctuary with great feedback from practitioners.

During this extended and deeply relaxing practice time is allowed for explanation of technique, time to settle well, time to ‘come to’ and time to reflect .

This next session on Tuesday 11 November 2025 7pm to 8.30 pm is now available for booking
