Chris's journey to better health -

Chris came in with a big goal which he then realised was about regular little changes that stack up to big results. The great thing is it wasn't that hard for him. If anything, it was quite enjoyable.
Great work. This guys always cracks me up. Great fun to work with.

Press ups are not the most popular move, but often this is because people struggle with them. One reason why press ups are a great move is they work a lot more than just your chest if done effectively. Kelly here is showing the sort of progression and creativity that can come from bringing a lot of overall fitness progression back into press ups.

They say food is the best medicine. No doubt, working on what we eat can have huge impact on everything to do with our physical, mental and spiritual health.

I have put together a food guide that helps give a bit more context on healthy eating.

The food guide covers importance of food quality, foods that are good for weight loss, how weight loss works, things other than food that effect your weight, and different eating plans that are proven to work including guidance on finding the best one to fit you.

With so many diets out there and conflicting information on healthy eating, finding the right food plan can be a challenge. The only food plan that works is the one you can stick with. Trying to force a way of eating that doesn't fit in with your lifestyle or preferences can set you up for failure. Finding a plan you can stick with is often the first challenge.

Below is a link to my food guide which covers a variety of food plans that are most effective and fundamentals to keep in mind with whatever food plan works best for you. I often refer back to this plan when working with my personal training clients.

Good bye shoulder pain. We had been working on Karin's shoulders for a while now. She used to struggle to raise her arms overhead and suffered with a frozen shoulder. Her ultimate goal was to do a handstand. After a lot of patience and consistent exercise on her shoulders, she finally did it.

It is seeing my clients get results like this that makes me love what I do. I often notice the big changes happen after inconsistent progress turns into consistent progress. So when I ask what causes the transition; the sudden shift, the answer usually involves the following:

Having a clear mission (a goal).

Having a clear plan (like a business plan).

Some way of enjoying every bit of progress.
In Russell's case here it was his FitBit.

Routine that is prioritised and protected.

Accountability (being called out for slacking).
And being grateful for the better life that is gained from amazing results.
