Yoga with Carlita

Yoga with Carlita I am a deeply intuitive person, with a purpose & passion for helping people rediscover themselves Hola!

My name is Carlita and I am a deeply intuitive person, with a purpose and great passion for helping people rediscover themselves and supporting them to connect with their pure essence so that they can remember and return to who they are. I am a qualified RYT 200 Yoga Instructor, currently based in Wallingford - Oxfordshire. At the age of 24 I moved to the UK from Madrid to continue with my Marketi

ng and Business Career as well as leaning the language. After 12+ years living in Oxford & London, I decided to leave my corporate tech career to pursue my passion of teaching yoga and continue with my yoga studies. It brings me enormous satisfaction and a great sense of well-being to be able to share the knowledge and the tools that I have gained along many years of studying yoga which have helped me, and still helps me every day through my journey of life.

I believe that yoga is a natural and highly efficient system for healing, health and happiness. I have experienced a massive change within myself and I am very excited to share these tools with you so that you can also benefit from them.

Yoga has increased my strength, flexibility, body control & body awareness but most importantly for me was the inward mental journey that became the hardest but definitely the most rewarding journey I have ever been on.

The ability to help others have a positive mental attitude and a happier life brings happiness to my heart.

My classes are very special and unique, built around my own personal experiences. They are approachable with challenging flows for the body and the mind, focusing on body control and strength using the breath to carry my students through their own personal yoga practice.

I encourage my students to work with their own edge and to forget about how it looks as the most important part is about how it makes you feel in the body and mind.

Creating and holding a safe space, non-judgemental and for everyone is what I am looking forward to and I would love YOU to be part of it. Through my social media platforms, I am willing to share high quality content for all levels including yoga asana, breathwork, guided meditations & daily mindfulness.

I look forward to seeing you on the mat

Love and gratitude to you all

Forrest Yoga Abs: Building Fire, Strength & Truth 🔥

There’s a reason we start every Forrest Yoga class with core work. It’s not just about physical strength — it’s about connecting to your inner power, clearing emotional stagnation, and awakening the deep intelligence of your body.⁣

This week, I’ve been loving this fierce and freeing combo:⁣

💥 Elbow to Knee – This one wakes up the deep core, firing the transverse abdominals and anchoring you into presence. When you draw your elbow to knee with breath and intention, you’re not just working muscles — you’re calling your energy back home.⁣

💥 Abs with a Roll – A Forrest Yoga classic that blends strength, coordination, and spinal massage. It’s playful and powerful — teaching your body how to move with grace and control, even when life feels a little wobbly.⁣

💥 Twisting Root – A detoxifying spiral that rings out tension, massages the organs, and activates the obliques. This twist clears emotional knots stored in the belly and grounds your nervous system.⁣

✨ These moves work together to ignite your inner fire, stoke your confidence, and build resilience from the inside out. Core work in Forrest Yoga isn’t about punishment — it’s about remembering your strength and coming back to your center, over and over again.⁣

If you’re needing a reset, if you’re feeling disconnected or low on energy — come try these. Let them light a spark in your body, your breath, and your being.⁣

Forrest Yoga is not just another style—it’s a healing path that invites you back into your body with honesty and care.

This practice transformed my relationship with pain, breath, and inner strength. It’s where I learned to listen, to soften, to connect.

With breath as the anchor and intelligent sequencing for the nervous system, Forrest Yoga is a sanctuary for anyone ready to reconnect.

🌞 Hola familia!

July is here — the heart of summer.
The sun is full, the earth is warm, and the energy is calling us to move, breathe, and remember our own inner fire. 🔥

This month in our Forrest Yoga classes, we’re working with the theme:

✨ “Ignite Your Inner Fire” ✨

To me, this means:
🌬 Breathing deep
💪 Reclaiming our strength
🔥 Letting the fire within guide us home to ourselves

The energy of fire is transformation.
It burns through what no longer serves.
It awakens truth, courage, and vitality.
It lights the path — even when we feel lost.

In Forrest Yoga, we work with this fire in a deep, embodied way.
Through breath, grounded movement, and inner focus, we stoke the spiritual fire that brings us back to life.

When you connect to that flame inside...
🧠 Your mind clears
💛 Your heart softens and strengthens
🌿 Your body remembers how to feel alive again

Mental Health Awareness Week.

Dear beloved community,

This week marks Mental Health Awareness Week—a gentle invitation to shine light on something we all live with: our inner world.

Mental health doesn’t always look like a diagnosis. Sometimes, it’s the tiredness we can’t shake… the quiet overwhelm… or feeling disconnected from our breath, body, or sense of self.

This week, I invite you to pause and ask:
💬 “How am I really feeling?”
And to honour whatever arises—with gentleness and truth.

🌿 This is where Forrest Yoga can support you.
A deeply grounding, breath-led practice designed to:
✨ Breathe more deeply & consciously
✨ Release tension & emotional holding
✨ Build strength & resilience
✨ Ground your energy
✨ Reconnect to your body as a safe, sacred space

Whether you’re moving through anxiety, burnout, grief—or simply craving time to feel—Forrest Yoga meets you right where you are.

🧘‍♀️ Join me for Forrest Yoga this week:
📍Grace & Gravity Studio
📍The Body Training Studio
📍The Cart Shed, Battle Barns, Preston Crowmarsh, OX10 6SL

🗓️ Upcoming Cart Shed classes:

🔹 Thursday 15 May – 18:00 Forrest Yoga
👉 Bring a yoga mat, 2 blocks, roll, and a strap

⏰ Please note: No lunchtime class this Thursday, as I’ll be teaching a special Meditation Workshop instead!

Let’s move, breathe, and support our mental health together—in a space of compassion, strength, and community. 💚

I would be honoured to hold space for your healing and growth.

With love,
Carlita

Hello beloved ones,

Sending love from Riaza, a little gem tucked in the province of Segovia. We’re packing up today and starting the journey back through France and home to the UK. It’s been a time of sweet connection—family, laughter, incredible food, and golden memories.

As we’ve moved through this road trip, I’ve found myself reflecting deeply on my path—what I offer, how I serve, and what wants to come next. It feels like an unraveling… soft, honest, necessary.

In the past, I lived in a very masculine energy—doing, building, pushing forward. But this year is calling me into the feminine—a slower, more intuitive rhythm of listening, softening, and returning to my essence, my uniqueness, and the soul of my work.

✨ I don’t have all the answers, but I’m learning to trust the process. ✨

In this fast world, taking time to simply be is a radical act of self-love.

Breathe. Pause. Dream. Listen.

The insights will come. The energy will return.

Your inner compass knows the way.

“Creativity flows where spaciousness lives.
Connection deepens when we soften and slow.”

This season, I’m choosing more stillness, more tending of the quiet fire within.

Thank you for being here with me. 💛

As a facilitator and space holder, finding moments of connection and stillness is so important to me. Last week, I attended an incredible day retreat in magical Wasing—a place that holds a very special place in my heart.

Spending a day immersed in the healing embrace of nature at Wasing was nothing short of transformative. From the moment we stepped into the ancient woodlands, there was an immediate sense of calm and connection.

The guided Forest Bathing walk was a truly grounding experience—each step inviting deeper presence. We visited sacred spots, lay down on the earth, and allowed ourselves to be held and healed by Mother Nature’s energy.

The wild swimming lake was both exhilarating and deeply refreshing. The contrast of the cold water with the warmth of the stunning wood-fired sauna was an incredible experience—awakening the senses, soothing the nervous system, and leaving me feeling invigorated yet profoundly at peace.

The wild swimming lake was invigorating—that first dip took my breath away in the best way! The contrast of the cold water with the warmth of the stunning wood-fired sauna was an incredible experience—awakening the senses, soothing the nervous system, and leaving me feeling at peace.

Gathering around the fire for a delicious vegetarian lunch was the perfect way to share stories and connect with others. The whole day was beautifully thought out, balancing movement, stillness, warmth, and deep rest. The perfect antidote to the busyness and overwhelm of everyday life.

I left feeling lighter, clearer, and deeply rejuvenated. If you are seeking a day of true rest and recalibration, this experience is an absolute gift to yourself.

Highly recommended!

Hope you had a wonderful half term! I took a trip back to Spain to see my mum, and I’m so grateful to share that she’s doing much better. Huge thanks to everyone for your love and kind words during this challenging time.

This year started off a bit rocky for me, and I’ve struggled to plan as much work as I usually do. But family comes first, and my focus had to be on supporting my mum. I truly believe that Spring will rejuvenate my energy, allowing me to finally share some exciting workshops, collaborations, events, and retreats that I’ve been eager to bring to life!

I had the joy of bringing Cristina with me this time, and we had such a magical experience at “El Museo de las Ilusiones” (Museum of Illusions) in Madrid. This interactive space really challenged our senses and perceptions in the most delightful way.

This experience opened my eyes to different perspectives—not just regarding my mum’s health and family dynamics, but also my own inner struggles, like those pesky feelings of not doing enough or impostor syndrome. Can you relate? 🤔

Shifting our perspective can be as simple as changing our mindset or seeking out new viewpoints. Activities like meditation, breathwork, and yoga can help us step back and see life through a fresh lens. Have you ever tried contemplative journaling or shadow work? They can lead to surprising insights about our beliefs and reactions.

And then there are places like the Museo de las Ilusiones that literally alter our perception of space, forcing us to question what’s real. Sometimes, just lying on the ground and gazing up at the sky can offer a whole new appreciation for perspective. 🌌

As Einstein said, “You cannot solve a problem with the same mind that created it.” If you’re feeling stuck or frustrated, perhaps it’s time to shift your perspective and view the glass as half full. Give it a try—you might be surprised by what you discover! 💫

Next week is already half-term, and Cristina and I are off to Spain to visit my family.

Tomorrow, I will be teaching the last classes of the term at the Cart Shed, and we will be back on the 27th of February.

It has been incredible to run these classes in such a beautiful and peaceful space, and I am very excited to continue, as well as expand my offerings.

As you know, I am running two types of sessions: Forrest Yoga and Restorative Yoga—two practices that have profoundly supported me in my personal life and continue to do so.

With all that is going on back home, I keep reminding myself of the importance of looking after our bodies (inside and out) as well as our mental health. Sometimes, we underestimate the impact that stress, anxiety, and emotional imbalance can have on us.

This is my call to you: never give up on yourself. Prioritize your well-being and give yourself the best chance at a vibrant, fulfilling life. We only live once, and we only have one body—treat it wisely!

There are still spaces available for Thursday classes at the The Cart Shed!
See below and book your space! Join us for a nurturing and inspiring sessions designed to uplift your body, mind, and spirit.
