When we drift from our true path, we begin to lose sense of our own happiness and inner peace 🌷
In his book Free Thyself, Dr Bach gently teaches that we cannot find ourselves while steering another’s ship to harbour ⚓️
Instead, he encourages us to release control, giving others complete freedom, while lovingly refusing to be dominated by them 💐

Honeysuckle 🐝
This is the remedy for those stuck in the past, their minds fixed on prior happiness, unable to live life in the present 🎞️
In his book the Twelve Healers and Other Remedies, Dr Bach explains: “Those who live much in the past, perhaps a time of great happiness, or memories of a lost friend, or ambitions which have not come true. They do not expect further happiness such as they have had.” 🕯️
Honeysuckle can also be used for homesickness, and can be useful for those living far away from family, or leaving for university and college 🧳

“Our souls will guide us, if we will only listen” - Dr Bach, Free Thyself 🕊️⁠⁠
Dr Bach’s philosophy shares in the importance of nurturing our soul, and by listening to our own unique desires, instincts, thoughts, and feelings, we nurture our mind, and body 🌷⁠⁠
As in his book Free Thyself, Dr Bach emphasises: “Health depends on being in harmony with our souls” 💫⁠⁠
This notion can be taken with us day-to-day as we come across various obstacles in our path.🚶It is important to listen to our own intuition for guidance. ⛵️ Otherwise, we may find ourselves in a state of disharmony with outside influences steering us away from our soul’s unique path, putting our emotional health into a state of imbalance ⚖️
Within his writings, Dr Bach quotes Shakespeare: “To thine own self be true, and it must follow, as the night the day, thou canst not then be false to any man.” 📖⁠⁠

Impatiens 🌷
“When ill they are anxious for a hasty recovery” - Dr Bach 📖
This flower remedy is for those struggling with, as the name implies, impatience that can cause intense frustration and irritability⏳
In this mental state we may feel held up by more methodical people and prefer to work alone to side step a perceived delay ⏰
Impatiens is also one of five remedies used in Dr Bach’s crisis formula, otherwise known as rescue remedy, to help calm agitated thoughts and feelings 💥
📖 In his book The Twelve Healers and Other Remedies, Dr Bach explains: “Those who are quick in thought and action and who wish all things to be done without hesitation or delay. When ill they are anxious for a hasty recovery. They find it very difficult to be patient with people who are slow, as they consider it wrong and a waste of time, and they will endeavour to make such people quicker in all ways. They often prefer to work and think alone, so that they can do everything at their own speed.” 🌷

Vervain 🌱
This delicate flower is used in the Vervain remedy, and it is for those suffering from an intense sense of injustice or a strong desire to change another’s point of view🧑‍⚖️
The Vervain enthusiasm can be infectious and their extreme mental energy helps them to willingly dive into causes that mean much to them 🙇
At an extreme their views can become fanatical, with a hard resilience to others opinions. 🙅 This is where the Vervain remedy can help. 🌱
In his book The Twelve Healers and Other Remedies, Dr Bach describes Vervain, he said:
“Those with fixed principles and ideas, which they are confident are right, and which they very rarely change. They have a great wish to convert all around them to their own views of life. They are strong of will and have much courage when they are convinced of those things that they wish to teach. In illness, they struggle on long after many would have given up their duties.“ 📖
