Today, our Funeral Director Joe and Funeral Service Operatives Paul, Greg and Martin helped send Sandra off the way she wanted!

Family and friends wore vibrant Lei’s in honour of her bright personality, while some of her favourite songs filled the chapel — including Copacabana, Waterloo, and Bat Out of Hell — bringing smiles, memories and moments of laughter.

Sandra’s coffin was beautifully personalised with touches that meant so much to her and her family, including her favourite mug and a bottle of sangria from her Daughter who would always bring sangria back from Spain for her.

A truly unique and personal farewell for a much-loved lady, remembered with love, music, colour, and joy. 💛

We hope you’re at peace Sandra ❤️

Passed away peacefully in Charlton Court Care Home on Saturday 9th May 2026 aged 82 years.
Sandra, beloved Mam of Michelle, Lesley and Andrew, loving Mother-in-law of Kev, Steve and Shelly, dearly loved Grandma of Carla and Kyle, Great-Grandma of Sofia and Sienna and a dear friend to many.

Would family and friends please meet for a celebration of Sandra's life at Tynemouth Crematorium on Wednesday 27th May 2026 at 10:30am.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu of flowers can be made to The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation via a collection box as you leave the Crematorium.

Please wear bright colours on the day to reflect Sandra's colourful personality.
