Cinnamon roll baked oats 😍. They’re sweet, spiced, and swirl-y satisfying – like a hug in a ramekin that won’t roll you off plan 🙌.
Serves 1 – 0.5 Syn if using oats as your Healthy Extra ‘b’ choice
What you’ll need 🛍️:
100g fat-free natural yogurt
1 egg, beaten
½ tsp vanilla extract
2 tsp cinnamon 40g oats
½ tsp brown sugar
What you’ll do 🧑🍳:
Mix the yogurt, egg, vanilla extract and 1 tsp cinnamon in a bowl (reserve 2 tsp of this mixture in a separate ramekin), then mix in the oats. Transfer to a baking dish. In the ramekin, add the rest of the cinnamon and the brown sugar to make a paste. Swirl this through the oats. Bake at 200°C/fan 180°C/gas 6 for 30 minutes or until cooked through and golden.
Optional glaze:
Mix 1 tsp icing sugar and 1 tsp water (add 1 Syn). Drizzle after baking.
Serve warm with your favourite fresh fruit🍓🫐!
