BACKGROUND

I have over 15 years experience in Thai Oil and Deep Tissue Massage in Thailand and have recently achieved my UK Diplomas allowing me to massage here in the UK. I am currently working from home until my client base builds sufficienlty to allow me to take on premises. Whilst I am building my client base I am offering reduced prices on all massages. TRADITIONAL THAI MASSAGE £35 Reduced to £25 for 60 mins

The traditional Thai massage is different from Western massages as it mainly focuses on circulation and pressure points, which help promote internal health and heal many symptoms caused from cramped muscles. This classic Thai massage is also known as Thai Yoga massage as the recipient will be placed on a mattress on the floor and the practitioner will use his or her whole body from hands, knees, legs to feet to stretch the muscles and release pressure from the body. The recipient will need to be fully dressed on comfortable, loose clothing as no oil or any massage products are used during the session. THAI OIL MASSAGE £35 Reduced to £25 for 60 mins

The Thai oil massage involves deep, firm pressure and rolling and stretching movements using palms, thumbs, elbows and knees and the application of aromatic oils. An invigorating, rhythmic massage, it follows the style of traditional Thai massage. DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE £40 Reduced to £30 for 60 mins

Deep tissue massage is a fantastically rejuvenating massage technique typically used to alleviate aches and pains from exercise or musculoskeletal issues. Deep tissue massage benefits are wide ranging but include bringing relief from sports injuries, a sense of wellbeing and relaxation, increased circulations and reduced inflammation. Gentlemen please do register your interest and we will inform you when we secure premises and can start offering massages to men as well as ladies. T&Cs

We require a £5 deposit when taking bookings for all first time clients, this is to ensure that 'no shows' do not take available slots wanted by other potential clients.

Dear Customers : you have to know.
1. Characteristics of “General Back Pain”
• Main Cause: Usually caused by tight/inflamed back muscles from overuse, heavy lifting, prolonged sitting or standing, improper sleeping position, or lack of stretching.
• Pain Characteristics: A dull, heavy pain, localized in the back or lower back, rarely radiating down the leg.
• Onset: Usually temporary, gradually improving with rest or behavior adjustment.
• Pressure/Tenderness: Muscles can be painful and tense when palpated or pressed.

2. Characteristics of “Back Pain from Disc Herniation”
• Main Cause: Degenerative/Bulging Disc/Nerve Compression (such as Herniated Disc)
• Pain Characteristics: Usually begins as back pain with a “radiating pain down the leg” or “stinging pain” along the sciatic nerve. Numbness or muscle weakness may also be present.
• Onset: Symptoms may be chronic and rarely resolve on their own with rest. Or recurring.
• Symptoms: Coughing, sneezing, or straining: Pain is often worsened by pressure in the abdomen, such as when coughing, sneezing, or lifting heavy objects.
• Pressure/palpation: Pain is not limited to the muscles, but can also be deep or radiating along nerves.

Many clients ask how often they should get a massage. The answer is at least once a month. There are 365 days in a year, and there are 12 months in a year. If you get a massage once a month, that's 12 times a year. But since you use your body every day, how much relaxation does it need?

A preliminary self-examination for cervical disc herniation can be performed by yourself or by having someone around you perform a rough check.

1. Observe your own symptoms:
• Neck pain radiating down the shoulder or arm, usually on one side.
• Numbness or tingling in the arm, hand, and fingertips.
• Arm and hand muscle weakness, difficulty grasping objects.
• Neck stiffness, increased pain when turning or tilting the neck.
If multiple symptoms occur together, there is a possibility of nerve compression.

2. Perform simple posture tests.

• (Head Tilt)
Sit up straight, slightly lower your head, tilt your neck toward the affected side, and gently press down with your other hand. If the pain radiates down the arm, this indicates nerve compression.

For example, extend your arm, raise your arm, flex your wrist, extend your fingers, or squeeze your hand. If you can do this with uneven force or weakness on one side, test your arm and hand muscle strength: e.g., extend your arm, raise your arm, flex your wrist, extend your fingers, and see if there is a loss of strength.

• Check your skin sensation.
Gently prick the area with your fingertip or a needle and compare the sensations on both sides to see if they are the same.

If the physical examination indicates a pinched nerve, your doctor may recommend additional tests, such as an MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) – which can clearly show the discs, nerves, and spinal cord.
