Taha is our IT and tech genius!
He's an absolute star when it comes to anything technical and I think its safe to say, we'd all be a little bit lost without Taha.

"Hey there! I'm Taha, the tech wizard behind Sky High Staffing. My journey started with a computer science degree and took an adventurous turn with a master's in international project management. Before becoming the go-to tech lead here, I was in the trenches of app development, where I got to work on cool projects like the Guardian News app.
I'm all about team spirit and believe the best ideas come from collaborating. When I'm not stressing out over the latest tech, you can catch me chilling with a good book, running, playing football, or keeping up my tradition of watching "Die Hard" every December 20th (yep, haven't missed a year since 2014!). 💞Care work at Christmas 🌼❤️

It's six oclock Christmas morning,
The night shift are mopping the floor.
For twelve hours they have been caring
they've given their all and some more.

And just as the new dawn is breaking
The next shift is ready to start.
Leaving their home and their family
signing their names on each chart.

Whilst the rest of the world is still sleeping
they're busy defrosting their cars,
ready to care for the elderly
each one a shining bright star.

Helping the sick and the lonely,
bringing a smile to their day.
Doing a job others laugh at,
coping with very low pay.

But they do it because they are carers,
they know the difference they make.
They are the ones to bring sunshine
where once there was only heart ache.

Holding the hand of a lady
as she reaches in the end of her life,
wiping the tears of an old man
who still mourns the loss of his wife.

Kind words to those who have no one,
guiding the ones who are lost.
Melting old minds who seem frozen,
chipping away at life's frost.

And they will be there over Christmas,
shining their light as they go.
Battling through winter's rough weather,
praying that there is no snow.

Lets stop and think of the care staff,
lets show them all some respect.
Each one is a trained up professional,
there to guide and protect.

So this Christmas remember all carers
who provide the calm in life's storm.
Filling old hearts with compassion,
keeping our elderly 🎅🎄🎅🎄

Our staff are absolutely AMAZING, we cannot thank them enough for all the hard work they do especially over Christmas time.

We are currently looking for a Registered Domiciliary Care Manager to join us in our Torquay branch!

✨ Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day to day operations of domiciliary care services
- Ensure compliance is fully met to the regulatory standards and requirements
- Manage and supervise a team of care professionals
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, families and other healthcare professionals
- Conduct regular care assessments and reviews, ensuring care plans are personalised and meet clients needs
- Handle recruitment, training and development of staff
- Manage budgets and resources effectively

✨ What you’ll need:
- Level 5 NVQ is required or you must show you are working towards it
- Actively generate new leads and opportunities for business growth and client base expansion
- A relevant professional qualification in Health and Social Care
- CQC registered
- Excellent leadership, communication and people management skills
- Knowledge of current legislation and regulatory requirements related to Domiciliary Care
- A drivers license and access to a vehicle maybe required

Sally is our Quality Assurance and Training Manager!

Little quote from Sally - "I started my care career as a domiciliary care assistant and 16 years later I have never looked back, i loved the fact that I could deliver person centred care and make a difference to peoples lives, I went on to manage a 57 bed Dementia/residential care home and found my passion for dementia care and end of life care, I am always expanding my training and love the fact I get to train staff to ensure my knowledge gets passed down to the new employees so we can ensure that our staff deliver the best care possible. My role has now evolved and my passion for health and social care will always remain."
