Breast Awareness at the Women’s Wellbeing Culture Club

At WWCC this week, we created a safe space to talk openly and learn about breast awareness, in a way that truly connected with our women.

The session was delivered in familiar languages, using practical tools and clear resources, so everyone could take away not just information, but confidence.

We know that early awareness can save lives. And by making these conversations accessible and inclusive, we’re helping build healthier futures, one woman at a time.

Thanks to NHS Palliative Care for joining us and contributing to a valuable session at our Women’s Wellbeing Culture Club.

On World Mental Health Day 2025,
we’re reminded that connection isn’t optional, it’s essential for our wellbeing.

In times of crisis, the difference between isolation and support can change everything. Access to mental health services, the care of loved ones, and sometimes even a stranger’s helping hand, especially during disasters, emergencies, or times of upheaval, can make that vital difference.

Here’s what we can do together:
• Reach out, your small message might mean the world.
• Listen without judgment.
• Create space for someone else’s story.
• Advocate for accessible care in your communities.

Let’s become the change we wish to see in our community.
Together, even the smallest choices can help us heal, grow, and stay connected.

We’re so proud to share some exciting news! 🎉

Our team at The MindKind Projects has just become the first organisation in the world to complete the Design Led Co-Creation Workshop created and delivered by our friends at the – the world’s leading institute for Service Design. 💡

Over three research projects funded by AHRC and UKRI, we’ve had the privilege of working closely with Qian Sun, Head of Service Design at RCA. This journey has helped us become leaders in co-design and co-creation within the VCSE sector – and this latest workshop is taking our skills and thinking to the next level.

What does this mean for our communities?
It means we’ll be using Design Led Co-Creation to work alongside the people most affected by health inequalities – developing expressive, inclusive, and future-focused mental health and wellbeing solutions together. 🙌

A huge thank you to Qian Sun and her brilliant team of Masters graduates for an impactful, laughter-filled session that has truly shifted how we think about designing with our communities. We can’t wait to keep building on this work!

Men’s Peer Support Group - and they say men don't talk

This Tuesday at The MindKind Projects was one of those nights that sticks with you. We had our usual peer support but added something special to our fireside-style chat, a real fire to gather round.
No phones, no noise just a group of men talking honestly, listening deeply, and holding space for each other. Vulnerability showed up, and so did strength.

One of our own celebrated his birthday with us. No fancy plans, no big expectations. He chose to spend his evening here, with the group.

He said: “It's nice to spend my birthday with my friends”

Moments like that are why this group exists.
We’re building more than a support group, we’re building a brotherhood. A place where men can show up exactly as they are, no masks, no pressure. Whether you’re talking, listening, laughing or just breathing it all counts.

They say men don't talk. Men do talk, when the space is right.

Every Tuesday at 7:00PM - 8:30PM

No sign-up needed. Just show up.
