Not my usual post… but this is where real skin health starts 💫
Your skin isn’t just about what you put on it….
it’s a reflection of your gut, your hormones and how you nourish your body daily.
Powerhouse brunch 💫
Ribboned carrots prepped the night before, soaking up all the goodness…
apple cider vinegar, rice vinegar, fresh lime 🍋, garlic 🧄, chilli 🌶️, turmeric, sea salt and high-polyphenol olive oil 🫒
Finished with avocado 🥑 and eggs 🥚 for that balance of healthy fats and protein 👌
But the reason I’m sharing this…
So many people come to me with skin concerns, and we focus on treatments yet what’s happening internally is often overlooked.
Gut health, skin and hormones are all connected 🧠✨
If you’re not nourishing your body properly most days of the week, it will show up… in your skin, your energy, and how you feel.
And when I say “eat well”, I don’t mean the old 5-a-day…
Your body thrives on variety colours 🌈, fibre, and real whole foods.
People often say “I don’t have time”… ⏳
But the truth is you make time when your health becomes a priority.
For me, not taking HRT, it’s even more important to support my body through nutrition 🌿
This is about working with your body, not against it.
It’s not about being perfect.
It’s about consistency… most days of the week ✔️
Coming from an Indian family 🇮🇳… they don’t exactly mince their words 😅
Food was always the foundation and let’s just say, not looking after yourself was never really an option!
You can’t out-treat poor nutrition…
