Are you struggling with anxiety, stress, or depression? Walsall NHS Talking Therapies offers free, confidential support to anyone aged 16 or over who is registered with a Walsall GP. Our professional therapists are here to help you feel better through personalised therapy tailored to your needs.

How We Can Help:
We offer a range of therapies including:
• Guided Self-Help: Support for anxiety, low mood, and other difficulties.
• CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy): 1-1 Therapy offered via face-to-face, video or phone call, and with the additional option of computer-aided CBT.
• EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing): For trauma.
• Counselling: For depression offered via face-to-face, video or phone call.
• Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT): For relationship difficulties.
• Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy
• Couples Therapy: For depression.
• Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy
• Online Tools: Access information or an online CBT programme, that you can use anytime.

Pumping Marvellous, the UK's Heart Failure Charity, is hosting an event in the Black Country to check peoples blood pressure, heart rhythm and cholesterol in the attempt to help the nation look after their heart.

Date: Wednesday 24 September 2025
Time: 10am to 3pm
Location: Portway Lifestyle Centre, Newbury Lane, Oldbury, B69, 1HE.
Pumping Marvellous will provide:
• Kit and consumables for the point of care tests and will bring Kardia devices on the day, clinical support volunteers are asked to use their own blood pressure monitors
• Supporting literature including pathways for local adaptation along with patient letters to be taken to their GP surgery should an abnormal result be found
• Project management support to co-ordinate liaison with the venue and provision of training for clinical and non-clinical volunteers.

This information is provided to raise awareness of the Stop Smoking Services in Walsall which offer support from staff qualified in a combination of behavioural change techniques and motivational discussions, alongside access to free ni****ne replacement therapy (NRT) and va**ng starter kits.

The pregnancy services support pregnant women from maternity through to post-natal to stop smoking. This service also provides support to partners and families of pregnant women.
