Hartshorne Group Apprentice Induction – Day 3

Our new HGV Technician Apprentices have only been with us for 3 days, but they’ve already stepped up to their first big challenge!

Yesterday's activities put their learning to the test with hands-on tasks in:

☑️ Top-End Set
☑️ EMobility
☑️ Impact Tools
☑️ Brake Discs

It’s fantastic to see their enthusiasm and skills developing so quickly – nothing beats learning by doing!

Last night was a team meal with the training team and their depot managers - Jack Thompson, Nathan Lawton, Andrew Gibbons, and Phil Brookfield, our Operations Director. Today the apprentices take their next step with college enrolment.

This is the 2nd Volvo FH Aero to join the fleet at International Forwarding, and we were delighted that Nigel, Andy, and Tim once again turned to Hartshorne to supply this stunning vehicle.

This new addition will bolster International Forwarding Ltd commitment to reducing fuel consumption and lower their overall Co2 output 🌎

The Volvo FH Aero with the 500hp Turbo Compound engine features full air suspension, living package, fuel saving package, enhanced exterior finish, full MAP safety system, Kelsa top light bar and all finished off in International Forwarding Ltd striking livery.

To celebrate world heart day ❤ throughout the month of September we will be doubling our contribution for each hour of activity logged in our healthy heart Strava group. £2 will be donated for every 60 minutes of exercise posted in the group during the month, to increase the number of life-saving defibrillators within our local community.

The moment someone has a cardiac arrest, the clock ⏱ starts ticking. Around 30,000 people a year suffer a heart attack in the UK that occurs somewhere other than a hospital. If someone has a cardiac arrest, a defibrillator can help restore their normal heart rhythm while you’re waiting for the emergency services to arrive.

What a stunner, check out this new addition joining the fleet at Lloyd Watson Haulage Limited.

The team at Lloyd Watson offer both UK and European haulage solutions along with warehousing and storage facilities.

This Volvo FH Aero features our 13L 500hp engine, Drive Extended package including leather steering wheel, grab handles and armrests. There are also a few home comforts for the driver – fridge, microwave, TV prep and satellite navigation. The truck has been finished off with air horns, and factory cab paint in Lloyd Watson Haulage striking livery.

Introducing 2 new Volvo FL skip loaders to the fleet at We Are Pegasus 🤝

The FL’s are equipped with our 8 Litre 250hp engine, automatic 8-speed gearbox, LED headlights, DAB / Bluetooth radio and both vehicles are fitted with the latest GSR compliance package. Mounted with the ever-popular Hyva NG2012XL skip loader and Hyvalift easy sheet sheeting system.

This is the 6th Volvo FH Aero to join the Towerhurst fleet 🤝🇸🇪

The new addition features our 500hp Turbo Compound engine, Alloy wheels, factory fitted load indicator, camera monitoring system (CMS), side skirts plus some home comforts for the driver -full leather seats, I-Park Cool, and TV. The truck has been finished off with stunning Millennium Silver cab paint.

We would like to extend our thanks to Steve, Mike, Richard and the team at Towerhurst for once again placing their trust in Hartshorne and the Volvo product.

New truck, new registration for the team at Tom Lees Ltd.

The Tom Lees team offer a range of services from haulage to aggregates to muckaway solutions for both commercial and private use.

This new Volvo FMX features our 13L 420hp engine, Thompsons Loadmaster lite tipper body, MAP strobes and load camera, push button ignition, factory beacons and rear work lights. With factory cab paint in Orange Brown, the vehicle has been finished off in Tom Lees Ltd distinctive livery.

A1 Mini Mix, has just taken delivery of this new Volvo FL 4x2. This truck comes with our 8 Litre 320hp engine, 8 speed ZF powerline gearbox, drive package, vertical exhaust, storage box, factory beacons and GSR package complete with McPhee mixer body.
