The Hartshorne team were delighted to support Gasrec’s 'Fuel & Feast' event earlier this week, which included a demonstration at their Hams Hall biomethane refuelling site.

👏 Huge congratulations to Harley and Ethan on successfully passing their HGV Technician Apprenticeship.

Your hard work, determination and perseverance have truly paid off — a fantastic achievement and very well deserved.

Certificates were proudly presented by Rob Phillips, Depot Manager, who also began his own career as an apprentice — a great example of where commitment and learning can lead.

Each vehicle is specified with Volvo’s 13 litre 460hp engine and fitted with a Sterling GP low profile beavertail body, providing an efficient and robust solution to support the nationwide transportation of site access equipment. This exceptional vehicle boasts an impressive specification, including Volvo’s 540hp engine, lite weight axle, drive extended package, I Shift dual clutch transmission, and cab air suspension.

The living and driving environment has been carefully specified with a single bed, leather seats, swivel passenger seat, satellite navigation, fridge, DAB media touchscreen, and TV prep, making it perfectly suited for both long haul and day to day operations.

Safety and visibility are enhanced through side collision avoidance support, forward collision warning, and a left turn camera, while the exterior is finished off with Durabright alloys and a fully factory painted cab in NJ Docksey’s striking livery, ensuring it stands out wherever it goes.

Specified to a high standard, this impressive tractor unit features our 540hp engine paired with Volvo’s market leading I Shift gearbox. Safety and driver support are enhanced with side collision avoidance support, forward collision warning, and adaptive cruise control.

Inside the cab, comfort and practicality are key. The truck is equipped with a DAB media touchscreen, microwave, fridge, left turn camera, full leather electrically adjustable driver’s seat, rear wall lockers, TV preparation, and a Kelsa top bar, making it perfectly suited for long distance operations.
